I like the Intelligent deathclaws, and I personally would like for them to return!

It'd be an ironic turn of events that even though the bad ending of Fallout 1 is the super mutants taking over the vault, the cannon beginning of Fallout 2 is super mutants taking over the vault. Yes, Broken Hills was full of civilized super mutants, and vault 13 would also have civilized mutants, although the player could've gone into Mariposa and met the bad 2nd generation super mutants. You'd get to see the full spectrum of mutants, Broken Hills has only 1st gen and they are all civilized. Then vault 13 would be filled with 2nd gen, and only a couple of them are asses. Then in Mariposa, the 2nd gen mutants attack on sight.

Besides, if people had just played Fallout 1 up until the release of Fallout 2, then they'd expect every mutant to bad, they'd think Broken Hills is the only exception and when they open the door they'd expect to be shot to death, at least, that's how I see it. It could make all the more interesting if they encounter Broken Hills, then vault 13, then go into Mariposa expecting those guys to friendly, but they shoot on sight.

Yeah just saying I understand why people dislike the talking deathclaws, it'd be like having Doom 3 with a tag-along friendly talking cacodemon, yeah sure it's possible, but its also highly retarded.

Alas I kinda love the guys, there's some reasoning why Enclave would try to buff their intellect to use as soldiers for the cleansing, as shallow as that might be.

Goris is cool too, albino semi-shrunken deathclaw companion is all fine by me! Even if Bethesda made up such a concept I'd have to admit I'd appreciate them for it.
