"I havin' fun, lemme alone." Scorp said as he turned towards Arco and quickly reloaded.
Not only his speech seemed altered, but Arco also noticed almost all color in his eyes had gone away. Only black and white was visible. Arco had seen this before: drugs. Judging by the attack on Scorps speechpatterns Arco's first guess would be it was Psycho. If Scorp and Frank had found a stash it would explain why they had taken so much time to rejoin with the group.
"Milesy comin' too? Best defenshe is gowd offense." Scorp asked.
Scorp cocked his gun with a broad smile. He then proceeded in slowly moving forward, to meet the beasts head on in the corridor. Occasionally firing a burst he shuffled forward. Frank followed as soon as he was done reloading his shotgun. Arco had not seen Franks face, but judging from his behavior he was doped up too.
"I yo boogie man!" Scorp started singing, or maybe it was more like howling.
*a 7-round burst lit up the hallway*
"Yeah, that whot I am." Scorp continued, almost swinging down the corridor
Meanwhile Frank had joined up behind Scorp. He was moving half ducked, almost animal-like.
"Here kitty kitty!" Frank yelled as he disappeared around the first corner into a smaller hallway. He apparently ignored the beasts charging down the main hall, as if they were of no consequence to him, leaving Scorp and group to fend for themselves.

Jack shook his head.
'Great, theyre all doped up'
Not wanting to be the hero, or the lunch if he failed, Jack stayd back and illuminated any beast he could, using the fact that he only had ot limit his rate of fire to allow for cooling to keep whatever he could at bay.

Jack saw two beasts charging when inspirat struck him. He aimed at one of the pipes on the cieling and fired as the first beast ran underneah.
The pipe contained, as Jack hoped, air. It was a pneumatic pip that contained highly pressurized air for use in hydraulics from the doors to systems designed to seal the main section incase of containment breach.
The second beast swerved to avoid it's fallen comrade, when suddenly a large chunk riped out of it's arm. Jack added more damage by firing the laser pistol until it was begining to get warm, slicing the beast in half; killing it.
OCC: Sorry to double post, but wanted to try to move things along.

Arco watched as the group fended off the beasts. The final two could be heard approaching from the south, some how these noises were different, almost like steel upon steel. The beasts a emerged from the soutern intersection. They looked the same as the others but closer inspection revealed that they had some kind of metallic claws fixed to their heads, fists, and feet. These things were dangerous before but now they were deadly. Arco squared his shoulders and fire a short burst of three blasts down the hallway. They phased the beasts but nothing more. There was something different about them after the blasts struck. They seemed to have more power. They charged down the hall and at the group. Only time would tell if they would survive.

Encouraged, he fired a pulse from his laser at the beasts.
Rather than acting if it hurt, the animals begain to excrete onto the floor almost as if in exctesicy.
"Um guys!" Jack called out. "these things seem to be eating up the power from energy weapons. Use bullets only on them."
Just then a smaller beast burst thru a doorway right in front of Scorp, who pumped a large burst into it shredding the beast.
Unbeknownst to Jack, one of the bullets richoched off the beasts bone and bounced into the corridor wall several times, becoming heavily deformed.
The bullet, lowering on it's kinetic energy and heavily deformed, struck Jack's helmet at an angle.
While it didnt do much more than scratch the helmet Jack was knocked out cold. Only thinking one final thought as he fell.

'I hope someone heard my idea.....'
A loud cry of anger and pain echoed through the halls. It came from the corridor that Frank had taken. The outcry was so intense that there was little doubt to the fact Frank was dead or at least severely wounded. Wandering off alone had proven fatal.
Scorp crouched at the body lying in from of him and started to poke it with his finger. The muscles in his neck started twitching. As he turned around back to the group, Arco looked right into his crazed eyes. Even the veteran BoS-soldier was scared by the gaze of Scorp, he had completely lost it.
"Bashing time!" The raider yelled.
The drugged madman dropped his SAW, his backpack and his ammobelt. He reached inside his pockets, took out his two brass knuckles and rushed the charging beasts. Scorps fists came down as mighty warhammers on the head of the first beast, stunning it with consecutive blows until it collapsed. But not before it had severely torn open Scorps left leg.
The second beast however was not as easily taken down. Its mighty strike tore through Scorps bulletproof vest and left a wide cut on his torso. Under normal circumstances, any man would've gone down because of the deep wound, but for Scorp it was a matter of mind over matter. Or better yet, lunacy over matter.
Scorp kept on dealing out damage to the beast, but little progress was made as to disabling or killing it. This one seemed tougher than those others. The beast lashed out unexpectedly at Scorps left leg and both legwounds were to much to remain standing. The big man crumbled before the strange beast. Scorp tried to look up, but he never saw the blow that would split his skull. The crazed raider dropped to the floor, dead before he even hit the ground, his body still twitching from the excess of drugs in his system.

Almost immedantly after Scorp's death Fenix lined up his weapon to tore down the beast, leaving one remaining.
"Making your way down the hallway towards that doorway. We can't win out in the open." screamed Arco over the gun fire.
The doorway was about 3 meters in hieght and 1 in width making it a tight squeeze for the massive beast to tailed them. The group's best chance lay there.
OOC: Okay so the goal right now is to reach this room and kill the last beast. I am starting to get chapter two ready and hopefully I will have it up by this weekend.

Arco lead his remaining forces into the room, draging Jack by his arms as Arco did not leave wounded behind.
Suddenly, the doorframe exploded as the beast slamed its bulk into the opening.
Arco barley managed to duck in time as Greg's combat shotgun and Kahgan's Uzi opend up, doing little more than annoy this last beast.
Arco heard both of their guns click as the magizines emptied, and heard Fenix curse and funble with a jammed gun.
Seeing no other option, Arco threw a punch.
Suddenly, white hot pain exploded in Arco's head and he felt himself flying.
"Captain" Both Kahgan and Greg shouted as they saw the beast grab the BOS second by the head and throw him down the hall behind it.
Suddenly, there was a roar of pain from the beast followed a split second later by aloud report from a large caliber weapon.
Then another and another and another.
As the beast turned around to face this new threat, ignoring the fire from Kahgan and Greg,
Arco started to come to again as the new attacker opend up. Looking down the hall from where they had came from Arco saw Tenel Ka holding Jacks .50 cal sniper rifle,lying on the ground with the rifle on a bipod that looked new.
Suddenly, she fired another burst making Arco realize she hadnt been lazy while topside and had managed to give the weapon a burst capacity.
As the beast advanced on Arco, then pased him intent on Tenel Ka, Arco fully recoverd.
And he noticed something. Scorps discarded SAW.
His head throbbing with pain, Arco forced himself up and grabed the SAW.
Looking up to get a shot, Arco just saw the beast going around the corner followed by a sickening thud.
As he rounded the corner Arco saw the beast crouched over a wounded Tenel Ka.
Smelling a foul stentch, Arco realized the beasts ass was pointed up in the air.
Smiling as he ran foward, Arco jammed the SAWs barrel up the beasts ass and oheld down the trigger.
Roaring in pain, the beast died as the bullets ass raped it, and ripped up its internal organs.
Sddenly, Arco felt an extreme pain in his chest and knew no more.

All characthers that havent been killed will be left alive for now.
Tenel Ka is wounded seriously, as is Arco.
