I think it's good, way better than the writer(s) at Bethesda. I'm hesitant to even call Emil a professional writer but apparently he is.
Should've hired people like you instead but we have things in Fallout 4 like "HATE NEWSPAPERS". Maybe by Falllout 5 they'll allow linear companion endings like "Paladin Dalala killed things until he died".

Bethesda probably thinks Fallout:BoS was actually good. I wouldn't put it past them.

As far as I can guess, they probably have no idea what the game is, but pretends to hate it too to make them look like they're "in" and "cool" with their own fanbase, because even Bethesda's fans do not like that game.
