Interplay involuntary bankruptcy filing

It'd be hilarious to watch Herve bankrupting Sony.
Note to self: never under any circumstances read this board while drinking tea. My nose finds bursting with Lipton not really entertaining.

Update for the overly curious:

Still no word on Interplay gaining additional funds.

The ruling on the court hearing 2 days ago seems to have been "no tentative", in other words, no final decision. We have no idea why or how, but in any case no verdict has been reached. We'll let you know on the frontpage if we get any real news.

Bankruptcy

Any news or even rumors regarding the bankruptcy situation? Doesn't make much sense to me, how no one knows what is happening and nothing is posted anywhere. Has anyone heard anything from Corith or others who were involved in the case?

Yes it does.

The ruling of "no tentative" indicates that the matter might be in the progress of being settled outside of court. Interplay's law-firm is probably talking with Corith on finally paying him his dues, which would also explain why Corith isn't talking about it, since that would be directly contrary to his interests right now.

We'll see what's what in Interplay's next filing.

Just a bit curious, maybe im stupid for asking....

Isnt the only reason anyone gives a crap abotu Interplay still cause they have the MMO rights? I mean its not like they have the creative ability to make a Fallout game anymore....

...

Interplay also holds the Fallout license. If they go bankrupt, Bethesda retains the rights to Fallout 3 and an option for Fallout 4 and 5 (I think), but beyond that, whoever would purchase the license would hold the game.
