The Interplay website was hacked a day or so ago. They've put up a "we'll be back soon" sign and will be back when they're back. Just an FYI to Interplay.com regulars.

It's a ploy to get us visit to increase visitor count 
Too bad they couldn't get their hands on the FO 1/2 source.
It's looking like we'll be down until early next week when our IT guy gets back from vacation.
The hacker pretty much trashed the website files, and tried to force a download of some malware. We shut down his access and cleaned up the site.
No source code was at risk.
I got to take part in a couple "fun" phone calls yesterday. Good times!

your IT guy couldn't walk you through a restore process on the phone? stuff got borked good then...
as for the hacker, he didn't even use any decent way of trying the .exe to force download. kinda funny, you had to accept it and run it.
anyone who got infected from that deserves an internet equivalent of a Darwin award.

Has their site ever been properly working? Because you can totally see their image folder. Looks like their webmasters are as dumb as me and don't know how to disable folder-view xD No wonder they got hacked.
