Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Time for my little Hello.

Hello[dot]

anyway, I've been hanging here for quite a while too (ummm, a few years to say the least) and here I am now...
Please be nice to me...

Ehm... Hi! I'm Elric, I'm 22, from Italy. :D
I've been visiting the site for quite some time, I'm a great fan of CRPGs, rock music and Science Fiction. I'm a history student at the university, I love discussing politics btw. I've been a PA-setting addict since I first saw the movie "Interceptor" when I was a kid, it was then I realized I was doomed. After Wasteland I continued playing the games from Interplay-Black Isle-Troika, and now it seem I'm an orphan and Bethesda is an evil stepmother. :(
That's all for now!

Because they're trying to fit in by being like everyone else, which is exactly how not to fit in on NMA?

And welcome noobs! Please take a number, you will receive your complementary sodomization in the order you were received. :violent:

How come like half the new members to this forum have that old Fallout 3 symbol as an avatar?

Wish fulfillment? Like if everyone claps their hands really really hard, the fairies will wake up.

Well, upon reflection my "hello" message I thought I'd put here was aparently one of the ones that my browser ate when my router decided to barf on me. I'd thought it was only one in another section. Silly me.

Anyways...

I live up here in chilly Wisconsin USA, where there's little to do besides play games and freeze to death. Well, in the winter months at least. I've been a Fallout fan since the original demo came out, and FO 1 and 2 are still my most played games of all time. Been a member of the Unwashed Villagers pretty much since they existed... um, let's see...

I don't know exactly why I never signed on here before, so I'm guessing I just had too many other boards to keep up with and too much real life that wouldn't let me ignore it. I recently decided to do some game modding though, and after finding this site I decided it looked worthwhile and signed on.

Um... I don't sacrifice puppies, and I run a general contracting business when I'm not busy messing around with hacking game files to pieces and trying to put them back together. And Oh -I'm one of those "Old schoolers" I guess... I'm in my 30s and content still means a lot more to me than any amount of eye candy and glitz.

Guess that about does it. So hello to one and all, and thanks for all the fish. (slight HHG misquote if that line made no sense)

-Wraith

We need more girls too.

Perhaps a progressive advertising campaign targeted towards the female demographic, preferably the "gamer" subcategory, could be developed. The object of this campaign would be to entice the aforementioned demographic to visit the website “No Mutants Allowed.” At this point the various members of this website’s forum would have to provide some reason for the continued interest and activity of the sought female "gamers."

Considering that we can write off the qualities of “wit” or “charm,” we believe this will be a rather hard goal to accomplish. We suggest much more available “female impersonators” due to the lack of a foreseeable increase of the previously mentioned demographic.

And, err, welcome various new people?
