So you ARE liberal hippies.

Hi RogueArrow, Sytxferryman, Mad Max, Pirate Mohrg, clercqer, satanisgreat9, Fawkon, I used to be a falloutish liberal hippie but now I'm clean. It's been four months since I stopped playing Fallout 2.

It's difficult but there is hope. You must live one day at a time.

There is no medical cure for this addiction. At the same time all available medical testimony indicates that Falloutism is a progressive illness, that it cannot be cured in the ordinary sense of the term, but that it can be arrested through total abstinence from Fallout 1 or Fallout 2.

1. A fallouter must admit to being powerless in the face of Francis.... err.... Frank. He needs help from the Enclave soldiers or from the turrets.

2. A fallouter should come to believe that a Power greater than himself could restore he to sanity. Bethesda !!!!

3. A fallouter should make a decision to turn his will and his life over to the care of the Overseer as we understood him.

4. A fallouter should made a searching and fearless moral inventory of himself. Including what is inside your CLASSIC, GENUINE Chrysalis Motors Highwayman's trunk.

5. A fallouter should admit to the overseer, to himself and to other forum mates the exact nature of his wrongs. Even if he reloaded.

6. A fallouter must be entirely ready to have the hubologists remove all these defects of character.

7. A fallouter should make a list of all persons he had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all, including the Master.

8. A fallouter should made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. Forget about the Master. Helping him is a bad idea.

9. A fallouter must keep his personal inventory updated and when he is wrong he should promptly admit it.

Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, The Fallouter should try to carry this message to every fallouter and to practice these principles in all his affairs until Fallout 3.

Suicide Candidate, did you ask the permission of Calculon before using that signature? Since it is hosted by him.

Welcome to the few actually new people and not so much to all the older members spamming this thread.

Gosh, does anybody really read these things anymore after 83 pages???

Probably not. But since I registered, I may as well use the space allotted to me to my advantage.

I'm 30, I'm a computer science major, and the only reason I learned how to program was to learn how to make video games. I attended Digipen for a year before I failed out due to a lack of understanding of how expensive it was to move to Seattle and smoke weed. Also, my teachers sucked.

I attend school now in upstate New York. I used to make games for Sesame Street. If anybody has a good system in place for making games with people over the internet, I most heartily offer my services, if it's something that interests me. Not to be a jerk, but I've been burnt too many times trying to make things work with strangers over the internet as far as programming is concerned. People are far too lazy and disinterested after the first week. But, I'm not a tight-wad, nor am I hard-ass. I just want to do something cool

Anybody who's interested for real please write me at bbenton2002..at..hotmail.com

Don't be shy. I want to work in the worst way, but I won't put up with a bunch of lazy-ass-mofos.

yes, we still read and post here, and we say welcome.
You might want to check out the MR project if you're into scripting for fallout2, but I warn you, we can be lazy at times

welcome Golden Brown. Nice Stranglers music. I`m going this afternoon for an Amateur game development Convention, for modders and garage game makers, if i see something interesting i`ll tell you.

I'm not new, I just forgot my old password and the e-mail address to retrieve isn't active anymore. The name's Ed, I was the interim head honcho over at Vault0.org until the forums melted.

So, hi to everyone I know. Nice to meet you everyone I don't.

Greetings... new to the forum. A true first-timer. I loved Fallout 1 and 2 (never saw the point in playing POS as you call it or tactics... not that I could on my Mac anyway). I've been visiting the site very rarely over the past few years, and decided to sign up today for the forum.

Looking forward to Fallout 3 with much skepticism...

- John

Hello everyone -

I just registered, after coming here quite often for news regarding the best game...wait...the best multimedia experience in existence. I of course speak of Fallout.

I am saddened that Interplay chose to shut down BI and sell the licence, but now that that's out of our control, lets hope Bethesda respectfully lives up to continuing, what is the best game ever.
