Invade Canada

I am not sure the Repulicans among us would agree with that though.

According to a poll that an American survey firm has done, Gore would have gotten elected last time if Canad was the 52nd state. I think he had like more than half of the votes of all who were asked.

I am interested to see if they do one on Kerry.

And why would anyone want to keep/run Canada?

You'll need too much man power and money just to keep a tap on it, let alone manage it.

Canada also have a lot of special interest groups. I am not sure anyone but Canadians can put up with it.

Canada isn't as cold as you think. I used to live in the KS. We had pretty bad weather(cold) down there.

There are some plus side though. Smoking and drinking is allowed at 19, and 18 in Qubec. % of booze in any bottle alchol drinks is generally higher than US.

And since there is less people, you don't have to go very far to get some decent space. A lot of Americans buy the really expensive homes in Canada, since they get tax breaks and the exchange rate is good.

It's a bit too laid back sometimes.

But maybe that is the appeal.

I think Vancouver got voted the Top 3 most livable city on the planet for couple years in a row.

But, what do I know. I lived in the US for 6 years, Canada 6 years, and I am about to move to China.

One thing for sure, I wouldn't be able to afford a 4000 sq ft home near a lot of the big cities in the US, without earthquakes and typhoons.

Sorry guys but I want a damned road to Alaska straight up the west coast. Having to pay $23 to ship a freaking OS CD and "quickstart" manual to Alaska is rediculous. And that's with no insurance! Gah.

They did. I think the result was something like Kerry 80%, Bush 20%.

Come on, would not have happened without British support, and back then Canada was mostly American loyalists, as it's just a barren wasteland and no one would live there outside of wanting to stab America for declaring freedom from the Crown.
 
Ah, Canada, one of the few countries in the world I'd live in if I didn't live here already.

US bad, Canada good.

Better beer, fewer murders, fewer people, more land and where I live, if we see snow 2 months of the year, it's a miracle. It's been green Christmas' for almost 10 years. Damn Yankees and and their smog. :wink:

Are you canadians claiming credit for burning DC? That was the Brits under General Ross, who got shot on the way to Baltimore.

Besides, I don't think you Canadians have much to fear from a US invasion. It's too fucking cold up there.

Most americans are slowly invading Mexico and other places south of the border. But that's mostly just retirees. Who the hell wants to live amongst the polar bears?

My wife and I were thinking of visiting up Montreal and Quebec and the map says it all. North of the St. Lawrence there's nothin.

Why invade when you already own it?

You should visit Alaska. We're American (sort of) and we like the cold. Awesome scenery, wildlife, and we want to invade Canada and declare our independence from you evil southerners.

No, No you should not visit this state.... It sucks. It sucks bad...

Alaska is nice in the summer, if a bit too damn bright ALL the time.... I've lost entire weekends to drinking simply because the sun was still up, i assumed very little time had passed... and the winter, I love the darkness and the dry air, but -40 to -60 degrees F is just WAY too fucking cold to be any good to anyone... This state has never seen a decent storm that didnt involve snow... the ground shakes on it's own... there is muskag EVERYWHERE, Mountians all around, and not one road in this state is ever not under repair....

Well, I WOULD request a transfer to fort rich, however there are NO Chinooks there.

And besides, I'll soon be transfered to Iraq for around a year.... and when i return i'll have 60-90 days left in that wasteland known as iraq...


As for a fireing squad, if you think you got what it takes young pup, come on up and visit ol' gramps here.

I hail from wisconsin, i claim this state only for tax purposes. mainly, i dont pay state taxes.

Ack! Why would anyone visit Montreal voluntarily? Just passing through it once a year is enough to make me hate the place :roll:
