After recent news, Interplay's stock got hit hard. Very hard. It opened at 0.035 and is at 0.025 per share as I'm writing this, dropping by 40% today. After balancing around 0.04 a share for the last few weeks, this is the lowest it has ever been.

If you'll remember, not too long ago Herve bought 8,679,306 shares at 0.052 a share. That means that right now, Herve has lost $234,000 on that purchase.

There went Herve's raise.

He may have been trying to shore up the company.

Resignation might have been the better way to go.

Right now, harve's name is like a wanted picture in a post office.
It doesn't matter what he say or do, anyone who think of him has nothing but negative thoughts.
If tomarrow IPlay put out an announcement that "harve resigned and Ori Klein is the new president" half the first second you'll be going who the fuck's Ori Klein (me)?
But the next one everyone will say "hey, at least harve's gone, this guy has got to be better, he likes games, lets have a party!".

They could say Romero (now laug...err, I mean, stick with me :D) is going to head up IPlay, the investor would still probably like it even more than harve.

I wonder if Brad could get MS to lend him the funds so he could buy IPlay (or all their intellectual properties and copyrights) under sigilgames and redevelop all the cool titles that were dropped.

I bet shareholders are thrilled.

No, hold on, fuck that. Any Interplay shareholder in whom such developments can still provoke a psychological response of any sort other than mild amusement is either a moron or... Wait, there's no "or". A moron. Fullstop.

Heh, it should be amusing to watch the Interplay Raging Bullshit forum after this. I wonder who will be the next idiot to mention that the stocks are going to raise so they can sell?

(I also was about to do an edit on the news post, but I had read the info wrong on the program I was using and almost said that stocks were 0.017.)

EDIT: Well, that didn't take too long.

Vegas loves those kind of people. So instead of selling at a loss, those stocks will soon be worth toilet paper. Remember, it's these kind of clueless investors that tend to cause problems in the gaming industry because of how they want the company to progress, yet they have little clue of the industry.

What allows me to chuckle the most is that it's not my money. :)

Unfortunately, they are truly up against a rock and a hard place.

It's either hold, and hope that Herve can pull some magical rabbit out of his ass to increase some minute level of share value, so they won't lose AS badly, or dump now, and try to stop the hemorraging.

Either way, it's a fucked situation, and one I'm glad I'm not in.

From its charts, this stock has been a dog almost from when they went public.

Brios, when are you going to tell us about the FAllout negotiations that Herve is doing?

Well i don`t have nothing concrete, and he`s probably more worried with the other problems he got into now. I`m sure the good people from NMA and the other sites and mags that are interested in what happens to the franchise will find it sooner or later.

Those who were able to short the stock at $.035 and cover at the $.025 close today made a 40% return on IPLYE today.
