IPLY stock hits new low

I agree. There was no guarantee that VB would have saved Herve's bacon, but it was the best shot he had.

The FO RPGs are comparitively niche, as someone in the Dev profiles said, but with it half finished and coming from a Black Isle that was semi-worthy of the name (as opposed to Interplay per se), and with a Fallout fanbase that would almost certainly have bought a copy each, what was he thinking?

Punishment to fit the crime!

according to frymuchan at Ragingbull:

He has Exalted, which should be near completion, in case he decides to sell one of his big name franchises, and then hope to stay afloat on money from delivering the Exalted gold master to Vivendi.

I'm guessing that frymuchan must have a lot of money invested in Interplay to place his hopes on something like Exalted.

The fact the he believes that Exalted is near completion tells me that he has no clue about the project. I don't believe that the game had a playable level by the time that SKR (the Lead Designer) quit Interplay.

Interplay might be able to sell the Exalted license before declaring bankruptcy but they will not come close to the amount that they received for Hunter.
