Iraq stuff

Bradylama- I agree that surrendering to a helicopter is tough business. One of the reasons submarine attacks on civilian cruise ships was considered a war crime was because the submarine could not pick up survivors- same logic.

Of course, but are choppers similarly barred from engaging personnel?

Not as far as I know. If they were really armed then the helicopter had every right to blow them away. The pilots didn't know if they had a SAM hidden somewhere. In military thinking, it's best to err on the side of safety instead of being blown out of the sky. Harsh but efficient. - Colt

are you kidding? iraq was a known supporter for quite a FEW terrorist organizations.

Links please? Which ones specifically? I would like to know. Please provide some proof of that statement.

i wouldn't call iraq a peacful community where a murdurous dictator sits atop it. i'm amazed still by your defending those "peacful" countries. the fact that america did not find proof for 9.11 or chemical missiles doesnt neglect the fact that these people were against the USA EUROPE and everything non muslamic.

Christ, you suck at this 'arguing' thing. You are supposed to respond to my points instead of putting words in my mouth. Please point to where I called Iraq a 'peaceful' nation. Oh, wait, I didn't? Then please don't say I did.

hehe, and you should live in israel cause thats the way of life there, and it started in london too. only wonderous thing happened-not the arab organizations or the countries that support them are to blame. BUT THE USA.

Please point to where I said the USA was to blame for terrorist attacks. Oh, wait, once again I did no such thing. Fancy that, you putting words in my mouth. How 'bout you try reading my posts and then arguing the points within instead of arguing against things I never said? That usually is how a discussion works.

Here is something I am saying, so respond to this instead of something else: there are plenty of bad countries in the world. By your logic we need to be invading many many more nations. Why are you not arguing for the invasions of Syria, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, etc etc. Please respond to that point.

Kharn pretty much responded to the rest of your ramblings, so try responding to him before putting more words in our mouths. And for the love of God starting providing some facts to back up what you are saying. You sound like a 14 year old that doesn't have a grasp of how the real world works trying to lecture adults that actually live in it.
