IRON MAN, POWER ARMOR - WHY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE

The problem with the PA is where to get sufficient power to power its servomotors. Most PA in research and dev still have cords connected to them.

If the power source problem is solved then we can have real power armors.
 
I guess we will see them in the near future. Even if not in the use by military forces, unless they solved the issue with power, but even power armors with rather short battery life would be pretty usefull for civilians. Imagine how much good it could do for rescue workers, elderly or sick people that have trouble with their muscles or movement. Situations where a battery that powers the suit just for a few hours would be more then enough.

Police forces, Rescue Workers, Firefighters or paramedics. A lot of potential here.
