When you ask Marcus if he would "dip" Jacob and the vaultdweller he replies as if they are the same person...ok, most likely a mistake in the script but still...it would fit perfectly.

It's been years since I've played F2 so I have no idea if this is true or if it is true if it's on purpose.

Anyone played it recently? Any fact keepers know this off-hand? Per?

I'm literally waiting with baited breath. It would be awesome if something so "big" took this long to get noticed.

So no.

Also, Marcus first met Jacob when the Vault Dweller was in Arroyo.

That could still make them one in the same, however I don't think it was meant to be so. It might have just been an undeveloped plot or last minute change, I don't think that they would ever give the VD an exact name within the game to preserve the "RPGness" of the game.

That line makes no sense if they're the same person. It would be the same as saying "Jacob heard the call and embraced it. So did Jacob."

You weren't a member so much as a random guy who did one errand for them, then came in and stole some power armor, while Jacob was a full-fledged Paladin. Interesting idea, but probably just a mistake with the scripting,

Actually, he didn't stay there until death. One day he just disappeared.
