Jericho (post-apoc TV show)

Anyone wanna guess how the heck the terrorists got and detonated a high altitude EMP bomb? My guess is that it was the HomeLand Security Valente guy (fat bald white guy)

Wait did we know the EMP was the result of a special EMP bomb and not an EMP generated from the detonation of a nuclear weapon?

Besides that EMP's are easy for terrorists to get their hands on. I can buy one for 15K... I have pondered this for when I want the police officers to stop following me... Yeah crazy, but possible. BESIDES! The terrorists did it in Dark Angel... What? LAWL

Ya it was like the 5th episode and all the power shuts down after it had come back for a little bit and they look up into the night sky and theres this pretty shockwave thingy way up there... Now how would they have gotten a good one (presuming it had the power to wipe out most of the country in which case above Kansas would have been proper detonation area) and also had gotten it high up?

I figure it must have been Valente since he'd seem to have military connections

The real question is... How did they physically see the EMP?!?

Well if you hang out around the forums on the official site, you will learn there are major protest efforts and they are becoming increasingly more successful.

For example: I think about 1,400 lbs of nuts is going to be delivered to CBS's doorsteps (maybe the one in NewYork im not sure)

We are pretty sure we will get some closure, but hopefully a whole other season!

WOW!

I can't imagine the facial expression of the CBS executives when they see a UPS guy wheel in 2,000 pounds of nuts on a cart into their meeting room!

The EMP's created by nuclear detonations have a fairly short range unless the bomb goes off high above the surface. This makes sense in the context that the missiles we see being launched. If the missiles are AntiBallistic Missiles (ABM) they probably hit some incomming nukes and caused a detonation. This might theoretically create an EMP powerfull enough to kill everything with an unprotected circuit in a state. HOWEVER there is no flash and no blast from such explosion and an emp itself leaves no visible shockwave as far as i know.

So score one for the effort. Nothing for the realism.

Now close to 12K lbs of nuts! SEND MORE NUTS!

Hehe, it looks like the huge fan campaign worked. CBS is bringing Jericho back for 8 episodes to see how it does. This time around they're actually counting the huge amount of people who watched online or Tivo.

one could have been an EMP bomb/missile
but the angles look wrong and it looks more like a "shit the emp is coming lets fire off our shit while we have a chance"

over 25tons of nuts!

Sad part is they black out many other countries from watching their on-line version... Something about shooting themselves in the foot I hear...

I liked Jericho and I'm happy they're gonna bring it back for those few episodes (and hopefully more of course)... we'll see.

I'm sold on Jeff's nuts... Now that can be misconstrued, but I still have to give nutsonline a huge thank you for what they provided. I will be a returning customer.

I reached the very last episode of Jericho, and frankly I'm dissapointed that the series ended with a such a cliffhanger.

:(

I think that it makes it that much more amazing ending with such a cliffhanger... I just watched the entire series (finished it way to fast hahaha)

I really really cant wait till the next episodes though.

July 6th 9pm, CBS airs the re-runs get your friends to watch! E-mail CBS stating you enjoyed seeing them again this time on the TV!

Maybe this should be on front page news, because it is somewhat related to the Ghost Farm questline in Fallout 2. one town cant grow crops, so it (potentially) goes to raid the other little town that has no problem growing stuff. Kinda like in Jericho!

Okay. Here's my 0.02 $:

Fuck Jericho. No, really, fuck it.

There are tons of much better TV shows that get canceled and never return, and now this PA O.C. meh-at-best does? Fuck that.

There are also a lot more worse shows that don't get canceled. Jericho is much better than many shows on the air now, not the best obviously, but it deserves to be on the air much more than most shows.
