Jericho (post-apoc TV show)

Up to episode 11 now.

Some episodes are genuinely interesting and others are pure filler. The thing with Ravenwood gave me a definate Fallout vibe.
 
I think i only ever felt that the winter episode where Jake and his buddy almost freeze to death...

but i think the show does a good job of staying away from fillers, or at least making them pretty good!

Agreed, but wait, DERS MOOOOOOORE!!! It spins and turns quite a bit up to the season finale.

With any luck, come the Fall I will be watching Jericho and playing Boishock!

EDIT: Now I'm going to watch last weeks episode of Lost *yawn*
 
After reading in this thread what Jericho was about, I quickly downloaded the first season, and MAN! Jericho is great! I really hope they continue the show, there are a few petitions you can search for and sign for that purpose...
 
Well that sucked hard ball's. what surprises me is the they have renewed 24 for another 2 seasons, Jericho was at least original.

I was really enjoying the show, I'm already up to episode 18, and starting from episode 13, I began watching them in full HD (1080P), so it's been getting really good.

God damn it, CBS. God damn it.
 
Technically thats not finaly yet, because today they will announce their final decision with the fall line up tonight. Anything else is crap...

and there is still a chance that all the protestors will get their way like other shows have been saved in the past, there is even talks with another network about picky up the show (i forgot which one)
 
All day long CBS has been getting nonstop calls from people complaining about this. I doubt the show will come back, but it would be nice to have a 2-4 hour Jericho tv movie to wrap things up. It's clear they filmed at least part of a second season.

CBS is to Jericho as NBC was to Star Trek: TOS?

I'm thinking something more along the lines of CBS is to Jericho as Fox was to Firefly.

Sad but true... the final tenacious bit of the soul of the entertainment industry disappeared behind the woodshed long ago at the heel of Papa and his Winchester. It really doesn't matter to most of the suits whether they've got a guaranteed audience of tens of thousands if they think they could be using the same timeslot to milk millions for ad revenue.


Add to this the fact that the show's content isn't "safe" enough for your typical Billy Boardroom to feel comfortable sticking his neck out for (indeed, the show was probably only greenlit in the first place because it played into the now largely debunked "wierd sells" craze sparked by Lost), and you may as well round up a cast of friends and a digital camera. Those fanseries episodes aren't going to post themselves to YouTube...

*Please note that I truly and honestly hope that my cynicism has pinged a false positive here, though.
 
Anyone wanna guess how the heck the terrorists got and detonated a high altitude EMP bomb? My guess is that it was the HomeLand Security Valente guy (fat bald white guy)
