BN, I thought you knew what I knew. Not all mutants are hostile and some you might actually be able to talk to. Remember there was an early preview/interview that mentioned you could help the super mutants against the slavers of Paradise Falls.

As Cold Zero accurately said, I was joking. It's kind of a running joke on the Codex these days.

Yeah, I know you can talk to supermutants. I also at this point blankly assume they're putting in Marcus. Big yawn.

Wouldn't "not taking the easy way" be coming up with your own IP and game name, as opposed to buying someone else's ideas and then ripping off the setting and a couple of icons from it to plaster over a mod of the last game that you made, while using the name of that other company's IP on the box in a shameless attempt to cash in on the popularity of a proven franchise?

I've heard the Marcus thing too but only on speculation. Given the cut of the new super mutants I really hope it isn't true. I guess they could use him as that cliched in-exile character you can bring back to the tribe to set them right. Groan.

With regards to supermutants in particular, I know Bethesda has mentioned time and time again that the muties are the bad guys and they want to kill you, so I wonder if talking your way past supermutants is even a remote possibility.

Since BN is being lazy and Wooz wll probably ban him for spamming soon I'll try to elaborate.
Ekhm... Pete, Emil or Todd said something like "obviously when it comes to super mutants dialogue is not an option".
Y'know, cause you couldn't outsmart Harry or talk Master out of his plans. Just no.

Yup, I'm aware of that idiotic "dialogue is not an option" quote. I was wondering if this had changed, which it seems that it has. Maybe.
