Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Instabacked, for obvious reasons. Witcher 3, Kingdom Come and Cyberpunk 2077 are now my three most anticipated games.

I've backed this game looks really interesting i love the medeival period and its so pretty looking forward to playing this whenever it gets released

If this game doesn't learn from chivalry how to make a good melee system like every other rpg out there hasn't so far . . . I'm gonna choke a bitch.

Real medieval-y inspired settings make me jizz my pants though. Nah, not really, only if it's as great in style as this:

too colorful, blue dye is still expensive even for a vaerangian

anyway new video just came out recently

I really really really hope that Kingdom Come deliverance will get a gore mod. I want to cut limbs of unprotected targets! Just like that pig.

Sure the game won't allow you to cut unprotected limbs anyway?

What do you mean? Well we havn't seen anything like that so far. Nor even a hint, as far as I can tell. But I am not sure if that question ever came up anyway. But who knows? I havn't seen all of the interviews and videos. I just feel that this was not a priority for them. Maybe to avoid a higher rating? Or that people don'T see their game just as a gore fest. Albeit, when you look at the havok a proper sword or weapon can wreck at some flesh ...
'Just ignore the 'going trough armor' part.

Ever wondered who are the people behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance? Who is responsible for the sound, graphics, quests and codes? Do you have any questions you would like to ask the developers directly? Now you have the chance. We proudly present the new “Weekly Torch”. This new format will introduce a new member of the Warhorse team every Friday. The “Weekly Torch” contains a bunch of questions we asked our colleagues to let them introduce themselves, talk about their work and responsibilities at Warhorse Studios and of course some funny rubbish.

The “Weekly Torch” which will be posted on our forums should introduce the team while giving you the chance to ask questions directly. Your questions will be collected and a collection of them will be answered every other Wednesday on our forums.
This week we are introducing Jakub “Kuba” Holik, 3D Lead Environments Artist at Warhorse Studios. Learn about his nonexistent passion for history but existing passion for our historian. Enjoy and place your questions.

engine limitation, computation on calculating armor physic is already put much stress on the engine itself. And even more so since the engine were build on cryengine 3 and were notoriously for memory leak in alpha build

All they have to do is to allow moding, and if there forms a big enough moding community, then I am sure someone will try, and maybe someone will be succesfull :D.

but really, i would love to sacrefice gore feature just so that i got a good representation of Massive battle with 1000+ soldier. What is more Immersive breaking than the lack of that? i mean if you want gore you could just play skyrim :P

You should realize that, video game should at least contain one artistic trope to avert the uncanny valley of viewer perception

here one example, CDPR have concluded that due to the way that roach felt "too real" it induce motion sickness to the game tester

I have been watching this game for a long time now. I have high, but realistic hopes. Its most likely the last hurrah for me with big open world games as being an adult is getting in the way of 100+ hr marathon fun
