Knives

Sorry for double post but not other way to bump this thread.

Haven't yet bought the one I mentioned above. Sort of looking the one in the video below.

Or this. Norwegian Sami knife. Has a longer blade.

Both are carbon steel meaning they need to be oiled.

Got this for when I go Bushcrafting as my knife. Also have a normal 10 quid one as a spare

I also have one of those Gerber Paraframe knives and a camo Swiss army knife.

That's the more expensive Mora, right? Mora SRT? Hope it's worth the price. I can hook you up with cheaper Moras, the basic no thrills-models are pretty inexpensive around here.

Yeah I have got a cheap £9 model but I had some money spare so I bought a posher one.

Nice. I also recommend knives with comfortable handles, micarta etc. are good but I think rubber is extra nice, grippy even when wet etc. For heavy use get one like the Jääkäripuukko I posted the review to above. Some Marttiini knives with rubber handles can't take hard use, the handle might slide off the tang.

Bumping my favorite thread. As a Finn.

I recently bought one of these:

I actually wanted one with a black handle but the idiots send me one with a white handle instead. Whatever.
Now, the thing is: stiletto knives are illegal in Belgium, yet I had no trouble purchasing this and it opens up in a similar way, especially if you oil it well and practice, the speed with which it opens, is amazing. It says it's "spring assisted". So what's the difference between that and a stiletto knife? I can't see a mechanism or a spring anywhere. Is it embedded in the handle?
