Location, Location - Where do you post from?

Really, really nice picture.
I saw plenty of awesome posters and pictures, and have many myself, but none is that powerful.
Would like to get one, that's for sure.

DammitBoy you mentioned you studied graphic art, where and when?

B.A. in English, BFA in Art, Masters in Graphic Design ~ University of Alabama (yeehaw)

Probably before you were born, pre-computer age - we actually used ink, graphite, and paint on paper and canvas.

I started college in 1979 and finally left in 1984.

Left as in "quit", or left as in "finish studies"?
Isn't that a bit of a stupid question when he says he has two bachelors and masters degree?

Since I know nothing about educational system in America (in my country too, for that matter), it isn't necesarilly stupid. "Bachelor" has no real meaning for me, for example.

But I was just teasing DB this time (and failed at it). :P

Roll Tide.
That must've been towards the end of the Bear Bryant era?

Yes, I met him a couple of times - cool old dude. Worst thing I did my first week at Alabama as a freshman? Ask who Bear Bryant was - you'd think I'd asked an arab who Allah was.

---

Q: Why did the Alabama football team* act as pallbearers at Bear Bryant's funeral?

A: They wanted to let him down one last time.

*(the team that lost his last bowl game as coach, hillbilly/rednecks from alabamistan take their college football just a little too seriously)

No images on the computer, too lazy to find the camera. I live in a townhouse inside the city limits. I spent 8 months last year in a hotel while working on two movies. I post frpm my awesome gateway 17.5" screen dual-core drive laptop.

Yeah, I have most of my paintings on my facebook page and posted at asshelmets.com

Here's one of my paintings:

I suspect DammitBoy just grabbed some hacks artwork of a housewife's website...surely a masters in graphic design would create something a little more insightful, but I could be wrong.

Painting a picture of a nursery rhyme is incredibaly insightful... well o.k maybe not but any half decent artist can bullshit his way into pretending it is.

It's a painting for my daughter when she was little, of her favorite nursery rhyme.

It's quite nice, though is it a framed painting or did you put it on the wall itself?

I think it's good, is it Goodnight Moon?

Considering it has a cow, a moon, a spoon and a dish, and a fiddle-- I'd guess it's "Hey Diddle Diddle."

Winner!

(thanks for the compliments)

I never tried to do 'Art' or be an 'Artist' - my degree was in graphic design, which has a different objective in mind. Anybody who wants to tell you about their muse or what their 'art' means is a douche. Your opinion may vary.

Hmm, you just summed up why I don't like fine artists. I did art and design and they always try and ask you about your muse and what your work truely means.
You should probably never visit the Tate Modern in London if you don't like pretentious arty bullshit.
