Login Names: A look at our origins.

Well, i've only used two nicknames to any effect troughout my (short) internet history. The first was GoblinKing, and its still used on GameFAQs. It was based off David Bowie's character (Jareth the Goblin King) in the movie Labyrinth. Since i'm not exactly a good example of male aesthetics, the name doesn't seem that maladjusted, either.

The second name, Role-Player, is the one i've been using more often. I've been playing roleplaying games for a long time (from pen and paper to console and computer), and when considering what handle i should create when registering at RPGCodex, i couldn't think of a better one, as it pretty much defined my background and fit with the site's theme.

I've been using the nickname ever since.

EDIT: As for the avatar, i usually use different ones. I made the one you see now, which i believe is more fitting to use at NMA.

I’ve been using Soviet as my nick since 97’ then around 99' it evolved to sovz for no apparent reason.

Been using Sovz ever since.

In arcade games, I usually type in my name for highscores as either "vic" or "ass". Sometimes "gay". It's not like that's original though.
