Lonesome Road's achievements released

WorstUsernameEver

But best title ever!
It appears that the achievements for Lonesome Road, the last Fallout: New Vegas DLC, have been released on Steam, which is all the more notable considering we have no release date or screenshots of the DLC yet besides a vague indication that it will be released this month by Bethesda senior producer Jason Bergman.

So, without further ado, here's the achievements (as always, avoid them if you're sensitive about spoilers):

Warhead Hunter
Detonated all of the warheads in the Divide.

Rocket's Red Glare
Fully upgraded The Divide's signature weapon.

ED-Ecated
Found all of ED-E's upgrades in the Divide.

Condemned to repeat it
Decided the fate of all the Divide dwellers.

Hometown Hero
Completed Lonesome Road.

It ain't Fallout unless there is a nuclear explosion.

I wonder why the hell Ulysses wanna go into this place though.

Because Jason Bergman is lying to you, so you become angry and he regenerates health points from your anger.

August, probably end of august, feels valid, especially because OWB was released last month.

If they stick to releasing games on a Tuesday it will be either the 23th or 30th of August.

My money is on the 30th.

Finals in three weeks? Deus Ex in two weeks? Lonesome road in a possible two weeks? Someone upstairs really doesn't want me to pass my classes. :P

Seeing as the 23rd is the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I'd agree with you. Needs to be at least a week for people to get through DE:HR.

EDIT: Also, what kind of weapon IS that in the Rocket's Red Glare pic? Seems high tech for an explosive weapon. Also, ED-Ecated's icon made me laugh because for some reason ED-E wearing glasses amuses me. Also pretty much confirms that Dr. Whitley from the voice acting credits and Whitley from ED-E's audio logs are one and the same.

Personally I still think that the NPC with the same last name is simply a case of coincidence, a name being reused.

Does this mean we can possibly take ED-E with us? (perhaps you HAVE to, unless he's dead/never met).

edit: I really hope he gets a voice module- a voice like WALL-E? My money. Take all of it.

Hmmmm why was ED-E destroyed in the first place? Didn't Nash said he was dropped off by another Courier? Maybe it was part of Ulysses plan?

ED-E was shot twice in the beginning of the New Vegas trailer. It was found and brought to Nash. I'm pretty sure Nash says it was found by a caravan. It seems unlikely that it was involved with Ulysses. More likely there's some kind of lost Enclave outpost in the Divide that has eyebot upgrades.

I'm not completely stunned by these achievements. I was waiting for some of the B.O.M.B elements from Van Buren to come into play in New Vegas. I thought OWB would have some in there because, to me, the satellite crash implied that Big MT has some sort of orbital launch capacity.

I'd wager money that the signature weapon of the Divide is a unique Fatman, maybe the one from F3 that fire multiple nukes.

Day one for even mentioning ED-E! I can't wait to make my favorite companion (sorry cass) even better!

He definitely said that "a courier found him and dropped him off".

Maybe you don't know, but, shoots need a shooter to exist, WHo shoot ED-E? from the Vault
This eventually forced it to deactivate near Primm, where it was found and taken in by a courier of the local Mojave Express branch and given to Johnson Nash.

ED-E was fund by "A Courier" and brought to Nash. ED-E holds more secrets than initialy tought?
