Look up in the sky!

sweet

i knew there were paying sites for this...

unfortunatrly they dont have my country :(

Wow!

Almost as cool now, as it was months ago when this was first posted.

That being said.

OOOOOLLLLLDDDD!!!

What is the matter with this thing? Doesn't it have real time surveillance? :P And it only features North America and Alaska... too bad! The idea of playing Big Brother is interesting though....

It only has North America because pictures of your crappy countries would be a threat to national security. =P

... threat to national security ...

Their's or our's?

Consider the hysteria if the medium myopia was extended beyond our flat map consciousness,

our safe framed picture of "Left" and "Right" coasts, ...

... with that big fuzzy pink country at the top that insulates "us", like R-30 fiberglass, from that white icing at the tippy top.

Then there's that secret part of North America along the bottom edge where their southern accent is too strong for me to 'comprehendo'.

In what way is your country more worthy to be photographed? :P Nothing but a big sandbox  Bloody yanks, they think they own the world :look: . 8)

If "own" means to have the largest economical an military power they're right...
There are some types of war out there, namely guerilla and terrorism, so military power can sometime be futile; and I hear the American economy isn't what it used to be :P . Think that through. 8)

America .Jr?

'One' shouldn't refer to such an intimate relationship in mixed company.

Formalities mean 'much' in this situation.

Torrid repercussions lurk at every nuance! If the dynamic tension between our two sovereign densities were to collaspse horrible cross cultural mishaps could occur,
Louisianna's Arcadians might fill the tabasco shakers with butter flavored vinaigrette!

Then it'd be salsa or nada, if you want to bolt down them grits and runny eggs.

Hey, I like grits. Not so much eggs, much less of the runny variety.

I think 4too stole parts of his last post off fortune cookies.

I swear the terrorists could use this thing easy though...you can get top-down looks at canals, building, roads, and any important structure! Its actually kinda scary.

If it were real time I would have someone stand outside there house looking up and put there address here so we could see em'.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Meh, there're no images of Europe there. This is the suck.

Also, it's interesting how the continent is divided in regions (Bundesländer, districts, etc) rather than countries.

I'm surprised England isn't on there... you'd think the Yanks were watching us.... coz we're watching them.....

In numbers USA army is big, but in skill the Brit army whoops arse... but I don't want to start an international conflict on this board... it's probably in the rules not to... so, ignore me.

Not to mention that Military Power is an amalgamation of different branches. I don't think you can say that the British Navy or Air Force rivals anythig we Yanks can field.

Although, how do the current Enfields compare to your usual M16 derivatives?

4too you took the words right out of my mouth. Good point.

I was just wondering why you want to see other nations in a website called " Terraserver USA". In fact the US Geological Survey provided the pictures.

And I was checking some maps. Some pictures were taken in 1996.

Like Dope said.
