Its from the song "Erin Go Bragh" which is, not surprisingly, about the Easter Uprising in Dublin. They gave those Brits one hell of a fight, thats for sure. Its a much longer song, but I picked a few verses to get the gist of the song across.

Just like Scotland, Wales (I wonder how long before those two get their independance?), India, America, Australia, Africa...
