It's not that hard to make a poster, if you know how. Copyright aside, you can print a picture on that special "moist" paper for your own purposes.
If you want a bigger one, you can print it out in pieces and then combine them together.
Of course, this is not like the movie posters (so you can't frame it), but if it's done properly, it can easily resemble one, and it can look really good.
I know some magazines do this - they give a piece of the poster in each issue, so you can combine them later. I have a SC2 Jim Raynor poster (around 60x30 centimeters) and FO3 Vault Boy (around 45x30) in my room. They're not that big, but look really good (I could post a VB pic).
