Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
There seem to be a few movie junkies here. What are some of your most anticipated movies this year?

1. The Dark Knight
2. Indiana Jones and the whatevers
3. Cloverfield
4. James Bond 22
5. Hellraiser
6. The Incredible Hulk
7. Kung Fu Panda

I rarely watch hollywood these days, but I want to see Cloverfield because of the awesome trailer. Also, The Dark Knight, though I generally dislike superhero stuff, but the trailer looked nice. Possibly Indiana too.

any movies that feature great old ones, that is..if cloverfield doesnt deliver, i will not be interested.

I have a feeling Cloverfield is going to disappoint. The trailer looked fantastic but what kind of a monster movie has $30m budget? Hopefully, it won't affect quality or grandness of kickassery.

Iron Man looks ok. I like RD Jr. but I don't know anything about the character other than what I saw in the trailer and it was good but it didn't make me salivate.

he actually is a pretty accurate rendition of tony stark, considering both tony stark and robert have one thing in common, former drunkards. I think Robert is going for a cynical approach to the role, I think it'll be an alright popcorn flick.

i dont look forward to movies at all anymore. if i come across something that is interesting, i'll watch it, but i'm not keeping tabs on anything in particular.

Exactly what I thought.

BTW did anyone see the horrible trailer for Speed Racer? It killed any excitement I had about a new Wachowskis' movie, I couldn't imagine anything worse than what I saw.

Yes, it basically confirmed what I thought the movie was going to be.

Terrible.

The only positive thing that I can say about this movie is that there doesn't appear to be a scene where everyone dresses up like Racer X and storm the Parliament house of racing.

Speed Racer = crap

Me... looking forward to the next Narnia movie, Bucket List and that movie Be Kind, Rewind... since it's by the eternal sunshine feller.

Oh yea, forgot about Be Kind, Rewind. That looked pretty funny although I don't like Mos Def as an actor.

Bucket List plot sounds exactly like the German movie called Knocking On Heaven's Door. That movie was great, this one could be interesting since the guys are old.

Wall-e has potential but I hated Cars so I don't know about Pixar anymore.

Isn't Mutant: Chronicles (the movie) supposed to be released this year? That's where my vote goes, if that is.

Ratatouille was good indeed. I've watched too many cg cartoons however. I'd watch the cg Resident Evil movie they're making though.
