Youtubers provide what people "want" to hear. Majority of his subscribers would bash him if he even dares to slightly criticise Bethesda or Fallout 4. He's no different than those Reddit karma whores who make contradicting posts just to get karma and gold.

I'd argue that the cracks are starting to show on Matty's channel. Many do go to his channel for game updates and yammering, yet there's a good sized group of disgruntled viewers on his channel quick to point out his failing to see that Fallout 4 was far from a perfect game. I think over time, more will tire of him and move on to other channels that have a less biased view and lean more towards critical thinking. People buy hype for only so long.

He spammed Fallout 4 propaganda for a long time before Fallout 4 was even announced I think, so when the hype train finally started people jumped on board. All the videos are nothing more than propaganda and speculation about how great Fallout 4 would be or speculation about things Bethesda MIGHT be doing.
So naturally fanboys ate that sh*t up.
I personally stopped being hyped about Fallout 4 the second they revealed the dialogue wheel and voiced protagonist. I still gave the game a chance (100 hours played) but it is exactly as I expected - dumbed down to sh*t made for NON-Fallout, non-RPG fans.

It's made for... I would say Bethesda fans. Because shooter fans would realize the shooting mechanics suck in comparison, RPG fans... well they speak for themselves and strategy fans would realize how terrible settlement building is...
