After doing some research amongst older threads, I can't find any (recent that is) threads about this, which surprises me, as this movie probably will be declared as cult by the Fallout community.

I'm not very educated in the subject, but somewhere in a near future,Mutant Chronicles the movie, will be revealed to ze world.
Nothing more to add really, other than I watched the trailer -and liked it.

One more thing I like about the movie is the fact that our beloved Ron Perlman will be in it; the man who introduced us to the world this forum (and website) is dedicated to.
 
Wow, I remember back in the days when I played MC. The universe was amazing & the art work in the book was equally amazing and the creatures (Razide & Brotherhood Priest where my favorite)....take a look for yourselves

I am just glad they are making a movie with this !!
 
Awesome art, but I don't like it in this cohesion. Reminds me too much of Warhammer 40k somehow.

Mutant Chronicles is good, but not comparable to the older, swedish, versions of Mutant. Now there you have your retrofifties atmosphere, combined with twisted humor, instead of hyperspaced monsters with chainsaws and swords.
I still believe the movie is going to rock though, as the post-apocalyptic genre (as we want it) isn't exactly well-feed with movies, or at least not of this budget-scale.
 
Looking at the pictures above I was expecting a Doom type movie, but then I saw John Malkovich on the website and he's not the type of actor that sells out, so now I think this could be special. Hopefully NMA will keep a close eye on this one.
 
Are you kidding, John Malkovich is a total sell out. He often says himself how disgusted he is by what he's had to do in the past.
Seriously... Con Air, Johnny English, Eragon, etc.

Not to say that this movie will suck. In fact, I think I'll probably go see it.

He has done a lot of good stuff. The vast majority of actors haven't even done that. :)

I agree with you about JE though. It slipped my mind. What was he thinking? :lol:

But Con Air? Come on! Sure it was a mindless action movie, but it was a good mindless action movie. :lol:

Of course, I never disputed that he's a brilliant actor. I just noted that he is well known for saying that some of the movies he had to do were shit.

Parts were ok, others sucked. Nicholas Cage was god awful.
 
For some reason, I watched the entire trailer thinking it was all computer animated. (Think Final Fantasy: Spirits Within)

Makes you think about how realistic CGI is getting nowadays.

True , this was probably shown to a small audience just to show off what the movie will be like & some one snapped the intro and put it online...so the unofficial trailer that you just saw will be completely different from the official one...I hope.
