Hell yeah. If we get the same style as the All Roads for a continuous Fallout comic, I would be an immediate subscriber. I'd still feel left out, though. After playing the shit out of New Vegas, I can't see Fallout (minus FO4) as anything other than being an interactive RPG.

Letting the series die? No. I've been a huge Fallout fan since I played New Vegas back in 2014, I refuse to let it die.
I've lost most hope for a GOOD Bethesda Fallout title, hence why I've started turning to the fan-made games (i.e. Fallout 1.5 Resurrection, Fallout of Nevada when it gets translated, and Mutants Rising hopefully.)

"I like them all for some insane reason and yes"
Oh, I guess I'm insane.

The hardest part is letting go.
I didn't like All Roads, the art was too generic, I would've rather have the same artist for the cover doing the inside artwork. The story was kinda.... pointless, it's more of a nice curiosity than a legitimate piece of fiction that I enjoyed.

I think if they start making comics they'd have to have a better story to get me interested, the story in all raods was pretty pointless. I like the art, and I do agree it can be better. I really doubt we'll get any type of fallout comic series other than any fan ones in the future.

I'd rather let it "die", as in if from now on we can never have a 'spin-off' made by Obsidian or any developers but Bethesda, then let the Bethestards enjoy their settlement building, Presto Gravy memes, and War, War Never Changes™. Meanwhile, we can just enjoy the TC mods. If things are going relatively smoothly, we can enjoy the English version of Fallout of Nevada this year, the TC mods that some of the Codexers admitted to have been much, much better than Fallout 1.5: Resurrection, which by itself is on par with Fallout 2, if not even better.

FoN is the whole reason I started learning Russian in the first place.

A comic line would just use up creativity, hammer in lore that, basically, shouldn't be hammered in, and stifle up settings which could had been used for games, and if there's a really decisive comic there would be nothing that could be done about it. I'm content to see the series die for now - Bethesda won't last forever, the rights will be sold one day - and just enjoy other series and standalones in the meantime.

Personally I enjoyed all of the artwork. Also HORSES CONFIRMED!!! mistake or no I take that as canon. I have to agree on the absurd pointlessness of that book though. Maybe itd have been better to have been an "issue 0" on a series detailing ulesyuess exploits.

Id probably be happy with your basic "mad max" character going through the universe we love as an ongoing series. Fuck it call him "raggedy man" why sugar coat it?

I really don't understand Bethesda reasoning for even purchasing the fallout franchise at all. If they just wanted to make a shallow post apocalyptic shooter they could have just done that in a new ip. They obviously don't care about putting any effort into writing or lore so wanting an established universe makes no sense. They aren't doing anything with it they just make a mockery of it at the most.

Milking the name of course.

But even then in 2004, Fallout wasn't exactly a household name. Not many people outside of the most hardcore gaming circles had really heard of it. There's a group of people who still refer to Fallout 3 as the 'first' even through it was the 5th title to be released in the series.

Bethesda probably just bought the Fallout IP because maybe a few of the devs really enjoyed it. Or maybe they saw not many people were bidding on it and put money down for it.
Whatever the case, Bethesda have it for the foreseeable future.

In all honesty, them buying the IP wasn't really a bad thing, not doing anything interesting is what is keeping the series down.

I would say them buying the IP was bad because there were others (that could have made a more fateful Fallout game) interested in it but got outbid.

Troika Games (which was founded by Tim Cain, Leon Boyarsky and Jason Anderson) had actually a deal with Interplay, but then Bethesda offered more money and Interplay accepted it instead.
Imagine the makers of: Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, The Temple of Elemental Evil and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines making Fallout games back then.
