So on polish game portal there is up new interview with Fallout 3 makers.

1. Intreview is with Timothy Cain and Jason Anderson.
2. Bethesda made a huge base of finished graphics. They are good but need more work to have old Fallout soul.
3. Graphic will be 3d: 1 or 3 pp and 3d isomethric(without perspective).
4. Place of action will be whole world but the most important continet will be Africa as a source of new civilization.
5. New AI that is learning tactics from player.
6. there will be much more advanced version of S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

Everything sounds extremly promising :)
 
Can someone please translate that article into Dutch? Uhm, I mean English. Sounds interesting.

What the hell are they doing in Africa? That place probably didn't even get nuked, there is nothing of interest there. (Nothing that would call for a nuke)
God dam this is starting to sound like Fallout on deserted/desert tropical islands :eek:

On the other hand this is slightly encouraging: if the map is going to be so big they have to have a world map like the traditional Fallout map.

Oh, another *radiant* AI, right? I hope not! And there had better not be any of that auto leveling crap for the monsters or whatever creatures they are going to populate the wasteland (provided it will be a wasteland...) with.

Could somebody please translate that article, pretty please...
I find myself commenting and article I haven't really read and I find that kind of discomforting :roll:

Also, since it is with Tim Cain and Jason Anderson, who have nothing to do with Bethesda, isn't this actually about the ideas they had for a new Fallout 3 rather than the ideas Beth has for Fallout 3?

They just signed and Beth. gave them full freedom in design of F3.

Advanced Special means much more complicated. There are no details in interview. Editor just says: its rpg system of our dreams.

Africa was always a cradle of civilization so it will have the most important role in new F. story.

Ah well, a hoax, it'd be pretty ridiculous if this got by us in any way if it were true.

It's also pretty ridiculous to say that a game based on a dark future and american culture will span the entire world (what are you going to do, walk across the world?), and take place mainly in Africa.
 
Snurk. Obvious joke. Cain, Anderson and Boyarsky have long since found jobs in and out of the industry and are not bound to work for Bethesda anytime soon, any one of them, let alone all. The rest of the stuff is ridiculous too.

eee i have mixed feelings because this is the biggest and the best polish website about comuter games, so i don't think that they are lying. This interview is so fucking exicting, but i just cfan't believe in mixed FPP\TPP\IZO, and i cant' imagine turns in FPP so it's probably Real Time

EDIT: it seems that this is just a stupid joke, 39 days before E3 :/
