New Vegas bethesda version Thread

First time out of the vault
I'm wondering if anyone thought about New Vegas created by the vile hands of Bethesda soft-works.

If that happened (which already happened in my dream once), what features would have this piece of apocalyptic pile of feces have?

Let me get this started first

- Players will not see Deathclaws in Sloan even though the villagers are talking about Deathclaws and even give you quest for it. Why?

Answer: Level scaling, genius.

Other than the strip, the mojave is still a radioactive wasteland. And you must help the NCR stop the new Master and the new Enclave from joining forces.

Here's how it would look like:

> Mojave is a desert
> deserts are dry
> dry = not moist
> not moist = there's no water
> people suffer because there's no water
> also raiders, mutants, bears and aliens
> you're from a vault
> you help bring water to Mojave
> you fight along the noble NCR to bring democracy and peace to Vegas under the tyrannical dictator House
> not to mention he's actually a puppet of the Enclave
> the Enclave started to breed super mutants and deathclaws to take control over Mojave
> you need to forge an alliance between NCR and Brotherhood to win the war
> turns out you're the son of the Lone Wanderer
> Sarah Lyons is the new high elder of BOS
> as she recognizes who your ancestor was, she decides that BOS will help NCR
> the Mojave wasteland proved to be a cruel and inhospitable place, but you survived it
> Enclave is crushed
> you die as you enter the irradiated chamber where House's body is located
> because sacrifice
> ending scene shows it's raining over Mojave
> you're Bethesda's type of Kwisatz Haderach
> as the credits end, you go outside and smoke a cigarette
> you realize Fallout is dead, it's corpse twisted, raped and mocked beyond recognition
> something dies inside you as well

Someone is some other thread already posted beth version of FNV, and it was really great post. Wish I could see it again...

Edit: Found it.

And just for the fun of it, this is what I believe F:NV would have looked like if Bethesda had made it:

- The main goal of the game would have been to help NCR take over New Vegas and destory that evil madman Mr House.

- Mr House would have deployed an army of Super Mutants. Potentially, these would have been his own upgraded version, the Super Duper Mutants.

- The Legion would not have existed, and in their stead there'd be "raiders".

- The only involvement the Brotherhood would have had would be a quest where you get them to join forces with NCR to destroy Dr Evi- I mean, Mr. House.

- There's be no AMR, no different ammo types, 2-3 different high-end weapons in each category.

- Jacobstown would not exist. Marcus could make a cameo however, but it's likely that he had turned against humankind and is now leading a raiding band of Nightkin.

- The final battle for New Vegas would present you with two options: annex it into the NCR (good) or nuke it, killing everyone inside (evil). Either way, the NCR wouldn't really care, you'd still be a hero.

Nuke (from Great War) would've been already inside Lucky 38, because House considered it token of good luck (because, well, it didn't explode). Hence the name of casino. I mean, what could POSSIBLY go wrong with living next to active nuke? It's not like some madman would like to activate it, because Lucky 38 blocks view from his apartament. Ah, wait, it's suppose to be Bethesda version...

I've never heard about that nuke...

It's an allusion towards Megaton and "rationality" of its concept. After all we are talking what would be if Bethesda made NV, right?

Yes, at first I caught it as an allusion, but the "wait, it's the Beth version..." confused me, I read it as sarcasm (as if the actual Obsidian version did that).

What I meant was that I couldn't imagine one guy deciding to blow up whole town just because he doesn't like to see it from his balcony. Then I played F3 :) Stuff like this seems to be perfectly fine for them. Perhaps I didn't speak clearly.

Vegas would be bigger. It would be a big 'battlefield' full of filler enemies. Some big enemy force would be the one to take up residence there. If it was Beth's first west coast deal, it would probably be a resurgence of the Master's mutants or something like that. Maybe some evil-er version of the legion, you know, something fallout-y to point to when the old school fans are looking. And so as not to come up with anything new.
Lots of loot, dungeons, loot, linearity, loot, some gimmicks like dragons were for skyrim, loot. . . OH and loot.

Also, everything is better than Beth's last game, untill you actually play the game.

Doc Mitchell would be your dad and he Sacrifices Himself to stop House's activation of his SecuriMutantrons the first time he atempts to do it.

fo3 was big? nah it's just trick.
NV looks smaller because it's full of human community.
fo3 looks bigger because there's nothing but dungeons and empty lot. actually map size is same.
