Wouldn't that be kind of idiotic - having new models, while still using the "non-canon" ones in a place where it makes no sense?
 
the AR15 isn't even a decent copy. as for the supermutant, i'll just wait to see what kind of story is behind it. it can't be worse than the Ant dude on FO3, right?
 
Man, I was all excited until that screenshot brought me back to reality. I was hoping the graphics and overall look wouldn't be so damn similar to Fallout 3, but oh well...

"Hardcore" mode is welcomed, definitely doing my first play through, or all, on that setting.
 
I couldn't help but laugh upon seeing that screenshot.

Man oh man. Fallout 3 mod it is, and an awkward looking one at that.
 
I'm really not surprised or anything, the first thing we really knew about this game was that it was going to reuse assets from Fallout 3.

I really don't mind if the look is similar provided that the mechanics are worked on (hardcore mode is an excellent addition for people looking for an actual increase in challenge) and the writing is improved.

Everything revealed so far is making me feel more optimistic towards New Vegas than I did towards Fallout 3.
 
I am still expecting this with some enthusiasm.
Even after i saw the awful screenshot.
Fallout 3 with good writing and gameplay changes is best i can realistically hope for.
 
It way to early to tell if it will look like this, probably just something the devs threw together for the magazine or its fake.

They cant be so confused that they include the M4 in Fallout, no way!
 
Wow... That screenshot looks like some fan-made piece of shit. As mentioned above, it's shocking how one screenshot can simply destroy your enthusiasm.

Sadly, FO:NV will be nothing more than Fallout 3 with slightly better writing. Count me out.

Only slightly? I would think there's a pretty big gap in quality between Bethesda's writers and Obsidian's.
 
Ok, now those screenshots look slightly a bit better. I like the one with this road on it.
