Well I've managed to retrieve some of the old NMA news, actually almost everything. So get ready for some NMA nostalgia, all the way back to 1998! It's excitement, it's thrills, chills and err.. well quite old news, but it's a fun read!

I will be adding more news as I find the time to do it, seeing that these things take time... Enjoy people, remember not all of the links work of course (that would mean almost everyone  )

After a small discussion I had with Matt Norton, one of the designers of Fallout, I have managed to get some info from him (not that regular "but Fallout 3 has not even been announced"). This is what he said:

We've just started on Fallout 3. Right now we're trying to figure out just what we want it to look like and how we want the engine to work. I don't have much information about the game itself yet other than the fact that we're going to a 3D engine (although using a similar view to the one found in Fallout 2 rather than 1st person). It will not be a multiplayer game."

::snif::

Nostalgia good. Especially that from the times before I arrived.

I could be able to salvage something from 1997 :) I'll check during the weekend if I hadn't thrown that cd in garbage, like most of others :(

Holy sweet bejeesus christ

I wasn't around back then :P

And it don't look like archive.org has the original forum (fallout.gamestats.com/board/general)

It's a pity...It'd be fun to see Xerox's messages again. Now there was a good fella.

Ehehe, and I almost forgot Smackrazor was once part of the NMA community, oh well...

I should update that Geocities page, right :)

Hosts in NMA's history:

1. Geocities
2. All Games network
3. Gamestats network
i'm sure you know the rest :)

I don't have any messages from the old, old, old forum since I had 33600 modem back then. it was a pain to download these files, it's pain to do that now, since I'm on 56k :)

Is that going to change at some point in time, or is this going to be one of those things we have to get used to?

Well some of the things they link to are gone, some I've managed to obtain. So some will work and other not, right now I've got my hands full with the files section.
