Daimyo, do you think you'll have some time to play today?

Also: If anyone comes across Silks of the Victor(Unique Ancient Armor) and Humongous(Unique Giant Axe), please let me know.

I've done a lot of MF runs...

However, I can't seem to find any decent weapons and armory to equip myself with, and I'm having a hard time doing any significant damage to things in NM difficulty. And I'm dying way too much as well, it's kind of frustrating.

Jeez, sic. Just make some pgems and buy the stuff online.
Honestly, you're lvl 51 and Silks of the Victor and Humongous sound good to you?
You could probably get the unique Ancient Axe for just a couple of gems.
And get immortal king's gloves belt and boots while you're at it.
Hell, you could probably get better stuff for free if you find a server with some guy who's too lazy to sell it.
 
I'd love to, I just don't follow the game economy anymore and things are so dead in the chat rooms, it's nuts. And yeah I'd love to get my hands on said gear but shit, it's just better than what I currently have. I'm wearing Sigon's ffs. -.-;
 
I managed to get me the helm, boots, gloves, and belt. My defense is a bit better so I can survive a little longer, but my damage is still lacking.

Bo, do you want to kill our way through Act II today if you have time? Or if anyone else wants we can power them through to Baal or whatever. Thoughts?
 
I'm fine either way. I can get online again for a while around 3 hours from now, so if anyone wants help rushing to Baal, I'll gladly assist. I've been running NM Andariel runs for equipment, found these:

They're best for Paladins, but good for most people I think. Anyone who wants them, just say so.
 
Anyone able to play today?

Yesterday I found Noko something amulet and M'avinas belt. I can't post their stats because I'm at work, but they are both good items. I also managed to get myself Stormrider Tabar for 7 perfect gems, so my damage is better.

Bofast, think we can get through nightmare by the end of the week? I start school again in a few weeks so I want to be able to have hell finished, if possible by then.
 
I already have the belt from the M'avina set, so you can sell yours if you want to.
And yeah, with some effort we might be able to finish up NM this week or so. I can't guarantee anything, though, as my brother is coming to visit me this weekend. We should get through part of act 4 at least.

Edit: forgot to mention, I'm going online now. :)
 
So after playing last night, I kept running over the council and Mephisto.

I found one thing:
Duriel's Shell. In a stash.

Seriously, I don't think Mephy or the council are good to kill at all for MF in Nightmare. The best thing that dropped were Sigon's Gauntlets, perhaps it was a bad day.

Daimyo, we have a lot of stuff for your warrior and I wouldn't mind putting it in your hands :P

I am very keen on playing and I believe I will be able to get in some time during the day on Saturday.

I agree with you, they drop almost nothing useful at all :?
I did find a really nice armor, also in a chest drop :shock:

Edit 2: Well, beating act 4 and 5 in one day sure is nice. Not that many good drops, though, too bad.
I'm gonna go item-hunting later tonight, I think, still want a decent belt and stuff like that.

if anyone's interested. I think the level requirement is around 35 or so, but it might be worth it even at that level :)

After some wheeling and dealing, I have got a full Tal-Rasha's set. You can't wear the armor until 71, but I have all the other pieces. I also have a Wizardspike dagger, to top it all off.
 
A full Tal Rasha set? :shock:

That's incredible! I just have to see it :D

Edit: It's currently about 14:42 EST and was trying out Hell Difficulty when a certain amount of Stone of Jordans sold to merchants was reached, causing the Diablo Clone to appear in The Den of Evil (which I was trying to clean out). He killed me, and I'm trying to kill him in return. He's EXTREMELY difficult, so if Sicblades or anyone else reads this, please join me... :o

Edit 2: Now, about 12 minutes after my last edit, I have given up any hope of defeating that clone. His regeneration rate was about equal to the amount of damage I could inflict on him without dying all the time, so I never got anywhere. I left the game, since I can't clean out The Den of Evil with him running around there, anyway... :(
