NMA Podcast Round 5 - Interview with Chris Avellone!

Well, I got an E-mail last night saying Chris can do the 18th at noon (a Thursday) or the 19th at 11AM PST?
He also said he can do about an hour.

(I would copy/paste the email here, but I'm not currently on my Laptop).

I can't see what I'm working until Friday this week, but I put in a request for both days off. (For now, let's plan for Thursday.)

Someone might have to send me a private message when/if there's another mic /chat test since I might forget with all the stuff I've been up to lately.

I'll prob send Chris an E-Mail later today okaying either of those are okay.

Is there an ability to listen in without participating? I'd like to hear it live but I don't know how the podcast is set up.
They used Teamspeak for the last one, last time you had to send a PM to AgentBJ09 to get the password (though, if I remember correctly, it was just 'NMA'). I think you can just sit in on a conversation in Teamspeak, though that may be looked down upon, since you'd be taking up a place someone with actual input could use.

Ah, alright then. Guess I'll just wait for it to come out online.

Thanks, man.

If we use the public server again, yes. @TransgenderVaultDeweller knows a private one since my attempt at it failed so badly before, and those have around a 30 person limit.

The major thing we'll need to do is turn off client notifications in TeamSpeak. Otherwise, we'll get those "User Disconnected/Started Recording" things again.

You'll have to tell me how to do that, I'm not sure what to navigate to in order to turn that off.

No problem.

When you're in the TeamSpeak client, click 'Settings', then 'Options', and then go to 'Notifications.' On that tab, select 'Sounds Deactivated' from the drop-down. That'll stop the client from saying those things that got into the recording last time.

Ugh. The one time my dad isn't off on Thursday. I'll try and be there.

We need to hear from Chris first; I'm planning for both days, just in case Thursday ends up being a wash.

Heads up guys.

To prevent the TS3 server issues we had the first time, I'll be renting a server for us to host the interview with Chris. I'm thinking 15-25 people should be plenty.

I'll update this once I get the order filled.

EDIT: OK, got the server up and running. It's (ts56.gameservers.com:9108).

It shouldn't require a permission code or password, and I'll be on for the next 1-1/2 hours. If anyone can't connect, let me know ASAP.
