Dunno about Shoddycast, but I think this video is pretty good about getting the basic lore. It mostly delves into Prewar and New Vegas stuff though.

I somewhat enjoy the storyteller ones, but I don't like their podcast, they are Bethesda fanboys through and through, they even said once that FO3's plot was better than New Vegas' but the lore videos are decent for the most part. They certainly put more effort into representing the story of the original fallouts to Nu-fans than Bethesda ever does.

I like Nilsor's vids but his accent is quite thick, wish he'd just do the vids in French with subs, his vids visually are nice though. Nth apple are ok and location specefic. Also, (The Vault wikia) puts out lore vids as well
