NMA thoughts on The Storyteller: FALLOUT by ShoddyCast

I found this by doing a search for Tim Cain.
I watched the episode with the original devs doing a cameo, then started from the beginning.
I got to S1 E2 and decided I can't watch it because it is advertised at being a lore series but doesn't follow the most consistent lore.
What are your thoughts?

It is made by a NuFallout fan who sucks on Bethesda's balls on a regular basis. They don't seem to understand the lore of the old games. They don't really speak of the old games much at all. Notice that generic Fallout 3 music at the start of the video? That really says a lot.
 
The worst thing about this series - it sucks and it's damn popular.
I mean, come in, they have aid of Tagaziel and they're still making a lot of errors, popularizing some untrue informations as fallout facts...
And entire form of using 3d graphic. When talking about old fallouts I want to see them, not some mods on gamebryo engine.
 
I took issue with the Legion episode because they used an armor mod and it looked weird. What is everyones issues with the Legion wearing skirts, is it a gender norm thing?
 
How many Fallout lore series are there? I've only seen one other and it posits aliens started the great war.

I like the idea but is it really necessary? I imagine there are already plenty of lore series on Youtube.

What this forum needs is a LP of Fallout 4 similar to the one RPG Codex did for Fallout 3. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, here's a link:

I'm haven't played the game yet and I'm probably not gonna do so anytime soon so a let's play would be fantastic, although I'm not sure if it would be interesting considering the fact that the game is so combat oriented.
 
ShoddyCast? They're Bethesda fans .. they were doing TES before they caught on to FO.

I don't mind them all that much, but when I retraced my steps for the night I posted the Bethesdaverse theory, they gave me the inspiration for it. Now they are assholes.
 
Was there really any need to narrate the Fallout 2 opening video, and in such a retarded way? Ugh, what a load of drivel.
 
I kind of like those videos, especially first season.
They manage to include some controversy like the origin of ghoul (FEV or no FEV) by the means of possible unreliable sources, you have some basic intel and it is still fun for someone that already know it.

Although, there are still mistakes, unecessary use of modded gamebryo when the original games already have the appropriate graphics (gamebryo version of Jacoren/Tandi/Horrigan suck hard)
 
Would anyone mind giving examples of mistakes shoddycast makes? I enjoyed it well enough, but I'd like to know what he gets wrong for future reference.
