No Fallout 3 PS3 Trophies at launch

I'm a disgruntled PS3 owner.

We get no love from Valve, and now from Beth it seems.

Oh well... Bioshock will probably get more playtime from me now, rather than FO3.

Beth loses another formerly loyal customer. Great job.

Not to make this a stupid console fanboy war, but just for grins I decided to check out the sales figures lately:

surprisingly wii is killing both of them, but here is the comparison through august 08 for this year:

Sales in 2008 through August has Xbox 360 in last place (154,000), behind Wii (376,000) and PS3 (200,000).

Overall:

total sales of the Wii since its release stand at 1,060,000, leading Xbox 360 (870,000) and PS3 (520,000).

Shockingly enough, EA predicted this back in February and was generally laughed at for it:

I recall reading on IGN a while ago that according to NDP (that organization that handles all global sales info for gaming) has stated that in Japan the PS3 has dominated the 360, and in Europe the PS3 is slated to surpass the 360 by mid 2009.

It'll only be a matter of time before Sony starts to really close the gap in North America.

I loves my ps3 :).

Not gonna happen. Microsoft just dropped the xbrick's price to $199.

So customers basically get to choose between a $200 console that has an enormous library of games along with excellent online capability... or a $400 blu-ray player that can play the ~5 good PS3 games. Seems like an easy choice to me.

Eh? Actually, NDP is almost purely Nort-America. If they have info on Japan, they probably got it from someone else.

And they don't even cover online sales, IIRC?
