North Korea and the Bomb

The question is would North Korea strike. I mean there is a high chance they aren't bluffing, I mean would they strike Japan, since they are one of the Asian counties that never forgave Japan for the crimes it commited during the second world war.

And where will they test the bomb. I'd think every satilette in orbit would lock unto that 'Flash' if it ever appeared.

And besides, a Nuclear war would be disasterous to the American people. I mean they wouldn't have the stomach seeing LA or San Francisco go up in a huge mushroom cloud.
 
Nuclear war would be great. BRING ON THE FALLOUT LARP. I've got dibs on being Rhombus.
 
I'm well stocked up on RAD-X, don't worry. Now just drop the bomb already! I spent a fortune on all that tinned food and following Cleve "bat-shit crazy" Blakemore's instructions for a secret lair.

I doubt it. The Japanese have not had a militaristic tradition in almost 60 years. It's hard to build on that again. The Japanese that tried to conquer Asia-Pacific in World War 2 grew up in a very different culture.

I would guess the Japanese could be sending a signal to North Korea that says, we've got better capital and technological assets than you. So don't even think about trying to arms race us.

-> I think, it's a 50 per cent chance that North Korea really has got a nuke.

-> As I see it, if nobody messes with them, they are likely to calm down. THEY don't need the war.
What can be done?
-> That depends on what result you wish to get.
Can it be changed?
-> If they really have got several bombs, nothing keeps them from making more.
War inevitable?
-> North Korea will NOT start the war. We use to say, don't touch shit and it won't stink.
Tokyo nuked?
-> Oh, yeah. It's their primary objective! I don't think everyone in North Korea is so stupid to nuke anyone at all. The bomb is much more a political power, than nuclear.
What can Japan do- (Oh No, there goes Tokyo, go go Godzilla!)
-> They can smile friendly and say, "we didn't mean to do anything bad".
