NSA Leaker Ed Snowden, Fallout (original) Player

Vault Maker

Vault-Tec Cartographer
Whatever we may think of him, he is not so different from us in one crucial way. From an article on Ars Technica, Snowden would post under the username TheTrueHOOHA in one of their IRC channels:

Welcome him as a brother.

Apartently they're comments he made in a chatroom a few years ago that show he was quite the fan of the original Fallout game...

Wait... I wonder... you don't believe he could actually be or have been a member of this...

I'm no huge fan of this guy, but at least he didn't reference Fallout 3.

He does come off as very cock-of-the-walk, though... sort of makes you wonder whether Roshambo was entirely on the up-and-up with us about his line of work :look:

so,

Robin Williams is known for plaiyng Arma. And also loving it.

Rumor also says that Vin Diesel is one of the guys that pledged 10 000$ to a kick starter project. But I forgot which one. But its just a rumor.

Also! If he is really a true Fallout fan (Ed), then why didnt he used his NSA power to destroy Fallout 3 before it was released!

How do you know he didn't?

All I know is that Vin Diesel is a huge D&D nerd. Which makes him even cooler.

Yeah, he is.

There's a pretty funny interview with him regarding D&D.

D&D has not only fire spells.

Youre talking about Van Buren aren't you?

This would actually sheed a whole new light on Herve, making him eventually a sleeper agent of some sort.

the sinister conections between the NSA and the Fallout world are finally uncovered.

I am also curious about something.

Think about it which celebrety in history would have enjoyed games if he would be around today?

Jean D arc for Counter Strike maybe? Stalin enjoying Command & Conquer? We will never know.

Yeah, he is.

There's a pretty funny interview with him regarding D&D.

IIRC (having once been a huge D&D nerd myself), he actually wrote the foreward for D&D's 30th anniversary compendium. A lot of the creative contributions he made to Riddick and the Pitch Black universe stemmed from his enthusiasm for the open-world, multi-planar structure of D&D's fantasy universe and from his love of his favorite player character, a half-drow witch hunter (a stone-cold serial killer who can see in the dark... sound familiar?)

Furthermore, the character was named Melkor, presumably after the source of all evil in Lord of the Rings. Apparently, this man is nothing but nested layers of geekitude, like some kind of wedgie-prone matroyshka doll. Might explain why he ended up hitting the gym so hard.

I liked Vin Diesel before but this new info makes me want to throw panties at him.

How can D&D make anything cooler? Kind of like making things cold with lava.

Well...lava is pretty cool too.

Actually... no!
