Last time I checked Hebrew was neither the language of the Bible, nor is it Jesus' language (he spoke Aramaic). I'm sure hard-core ultra-orthodox Jews will love this though.

I must admit the article sort of put me off of it. I don't see the point of watching the video if it's remotely similar to what it describes.

So ehm, two words (lightning and high place) in completely separate parts of the Bible are pronounced as Baraq and Bamah in Hebrew, a language pretty distinct from Aramaic.

In conclusion: in modern Hebrew, 'lightning and high place' would be 'Baraq u Bamah'.

It's possible that Palin would have become president were something to happen to McCain which is not really all that unlikely... Look at the bright side, if that did happen she would probably resign. :P

I guess it's too bad that "Bamah" means platform/stage -- ie, a raised platform to make sacrifices upon, and not "heights".
