He didn't have to accept it though. He should have respectfully declined.

But then again it's not everyday (well, year) you win the Nobel Peace Prize.
why should he deciline though. He want to donate the money from the price. So I think its alright for him to accept it even if he doesnt deserve it even if it would be just to do something usefull with the money.

I'm waiting until his second term to really judge him. It has only been 9 months. None of us know him. There hasn't been TIME for him to really do anything.

I've heard that it takes four years for anything you do to actually have an effect.

Reminds me a lot of the guy for some reason.

Politically, I line up pretty far opposite from President Obama on just about every issue. However, I am not terribly upset that he is winning the prize. He didn't ask to be nominated, and he didn't campaign for it. Basically, he was voted 'Most Likely to Succeed' by a bunch of Europeans.

To me, it's sort of like when the pizza man delivers to your house by mistake, and when you point out the error, he just tells you to keep it. I don't think really think about how little I deserve the pizza, or how disappointed the guy who actually ordered it must feel. Mostly, I think 'Hey, free pizza!'
