Ok, time for a bit of spice.

Bike breaks down in maggotville as darkness approaches. Rest of the group sees and has to get you out before dark. Is cool?

I love to draw.
And when creating my character I usually sketch a little, gives me a good feeling on the character itself…

And while being part of this Role-Play I’ve been sketching.

What I want to do is to publish here some drawings of our party, but I could use some help, like more detail information on some of the characters (welsh, I can’t find the bio of Kilrick anywhere!) and a few ideas on the location of the drawings (the truck? A bar? Killing maggots?)

What do you think? It would be a nice complement to the role-play. Just don’t expect master pieces, I’m only in my first year of Art-School…

Oh, and photo information, like how your guns look like in real life... that would help immensably!

I guess guns are pretty much Fallout 1 stuff, some from Fallout 2.

As for the characters-

Dr. Reynolds is a tall, thin, Anthony Edwards type science type. A bit bumbly and not to wise despite his knowledge

Jasmin- Angela Basset in Strange Days, except buffer and a bit of a lesbian and evil thing.

Deeds- Kind of a midsized bulldog of a man. Think of some of the roughnecks in Starship Troopers.

Dr. Maddy Stowe- Madelaine Stowe from the Last of the Mohicans ro 12 Monkeys. Kind of a tragic character, trapped in her fate and not to happy about it. Smart and looking for a way out.

Kilrick- never wanted to give him much definition, background, etc, in order to maximize the feel of the first person tense. But I have always thought of him of something of a cross between Gabriel Byrne in Miller's Crossing, Sam Spade from the Maltese Falcon and Mickey Rourke, from his earlier films (like Angel Heart)- an anti-hero with unclear motivations and morals.

The other characters- up to you all.

Location- this is upstate New York/ Conn./ NE, a few hundred miles due North of Manhattan. The river is the Hudson, which is a fairly old river surrounded by hills that tends to curve. The towns nearby are pretty old, brick, industrial. Rough ground really, with the vegetation recently coming back. SOme of the bridges are out, rivers are hard to pass except for ferries. Different factions are fighting for control so some areas are battle field no-man's land.

ok, i'm already making skeches of the characters, then I'll start about places. When I have some good drawings I'll post them somewere so you all could tell me if I got the feeling right and things I could change..

Hmm, details... Stryfe is a young man of negro and american indian heritage. Long plaited hair up to his neck, some tattoos of stripe marks (like death claw stripes).... A fine mustache and a stubble in the place where a goatie was.

umm... Cold green eyes. He has a Desert Eagle .44 and a pre-war AK-47 with a fitted scope. Tall, lanky but muscular. Wears a tattered, and scarred trench coat... Sturdy but strong.

Plan- Right now-
THe crew goes back to maggotville in the day time to salvage parts. This should take awhile but the group will split up. Once collected the group will leave and return to Ollies. THe next day there they scrap the wind turbine.

During this there will be some problem with the Tinkers, but I don't want to spoil it.

Myrrdin-

YOu bet. We are coming up to Maggotville soon and I will post on what you see and could do there.

Prudence- yes yes, the pipes. Got it. Don't sweat it. There is another entrance that Kilrick feels comfortable with for the way in. The pipes might be a better way out.

OCC- Ok I am leaving on Friday for about a week and a half, so try to move this story along a bit and then expect a break from me for a little while. I have pm'd a couple of you about what should happen next. Right now I am waiting for a post.

Cheers!

occ- Ok a bit of confusion is sometimes a good thing.

Gally is in Maggotville and the shoot out is between the members of the family. When Wolf and Rohan get to the overlook they will be able to observe what has occurred. Up to you guys how you want to respond to it.

When the truck comes in, Kilrick will emphasize getting the parts for the rig, but there is now a distraction. Do you try to help the surviving Tinkers? The kids are scattered and scared, some have gone underground. Time is an issue. THe maggots probably won't come up during the day, but at night they will own the town.

Have fun with it.

Guys, try to push my character ahead cause I will post three times or less a week (probably less for some time), especially you, Wolf!

Actually, you should all feel free to utilize each other's characters when you need to move the story along.

The key here is moving the story. The "I'm hanging out and being cool." bit doesn't move much. Better to hang out and be cool but then say something that will get people doing something.

In otherwords, write action most of the time. And again, feel free to use other characters or even NPCs.

But when doing so try to be consistent with the story and be kind to other people's characters.

Sorry for not posting, it’s been a hell of a week! I’m going to be to post often after Monday!

Ok, off I go. See you all in about two weeks. Have fun and push the story.

Ideally we get the parts, eventually leave and come back for the turbine. But whether you want to go after the lost women and kids will decide the story. Figure you got about 6 hours of daylight, so time is short.

Hey guys!

Move the story a bit, Welsh let us decide what to do, so go on! I can't stand the pause!

Just stopped in for a peak. Best thing to do is keep writing.

Kilrick would probably say do the job and let's go. If there is time to help some desperate folks out, great. But priority would be the job.

However, some of you might go for the kids and women.

There are two women out there and about 4 kids. Safe bet that at least two kids went underground. Two others are hiding. One woman is alone, the other is with the kids.

Does that help?

Ok, folks. There's the situation.

We know, from the narrative that there were three women and four children surivors from the gunfight (one of the woman being wounded and is being worked on by Wolf).

We can know one of the children is dead, and have a pretty good sense that another is dead too. We have found one in the junkyard, but those in town don't quite know that. There are two women still missing and one other child.

Sorry if I cut into some ass kicking before, but I had to slip in a plot development.
