You guys can switch your characters for some of these new ones (except Robert and Beth).

Hey Stompie-

Glad to bring you back. I am going to limit you to three characters. Mr Handy is playing Mr. and Mrs. Foo which are close enough that they can be played by one.

Boss Hammond is kind of a Horst character- important in a sense to the plot that its better if I hold on to him.

Flip, Alex and Wallace are fine. I would prefer if you picked up one staff, but these three are fine.

Please choose two more. Fireblade's characters remain available, so I would appreciate one character from the guests, from the staff and from the helicopter group. However, let me know if you would like to play others-

How is this going so far? I am playing fairly light CoC rules as its unfamiliar to many of you, and I am being somewhat restrictive in your choice of characters and actions- sorry.

The idea is that with greater restraint, the actual horror of this story becomes more realized. Your characters have to stand the chance of failing critical actions, missing important evidence, or otherwise making errors.

At present, only Thomas is in real jeopardy. But other characters will be soon enough. Free roleplay would allow your characters to always survive. But restrictive roleplay makes your characters more mortal- thus the tension of the game.

At the same time I don't want to be too restrictive as it ruins your chances to act. That said, not restrictive enough could also cause problems in the narrative.

Again, I ask players to try to use good grammar and language and try to be consistent with earlier posts.

Most of all, have fun with this.

I thought she was probably Monica Belucci based on the quote, but I wasn't entirely certain. I had only had a few hours of sleep yesterday and couldn't remember what she was supposed to look like. :zzz: I didn't want to say it was her and turn out to be wrong.

Its a damn shame that the marine was the first to be mauled by gaiant mosquito's from space. I guess USMC Combat training dosent realy cover evading gaint space mosquitos...

Pity we lost Alex. I had hopes he would survive for awhile and train some folks on essential survival skills.
 
Actually, I think Lt. Col. Gonzalez is playing Jim Kerr, but there are other characters available.

Yeah... Alex isnt quite gone yet though - he has... uhh - about- the ammount of time, for his brain to die, from oxygen deprivation, after his lung's sieze up. So - Do you think alex would be a twitcher, or a runner...

Sally and Mitchell I think are both currently available. Stompie- you are playing Wallace and I think Zoe is playing Jimmy so the junkyard group would be complete.

Sally the Nurse- wonderful! I love Sally the Nurse. I really did see her as the Nurse character from the Dawn of the Dead flick (as in the pic) so this is great. I felt she would not get play.

As for Erica Spears- I think I can make a character profile for her tonight and add to the character thread.

I have been thinking of bringing a few more characters into the game to help replace what I expect to be a rapid decline in living bodies.
