The new movie follows the book more closely but that didn't matter that much did it? It was just not scary.
Some parts of it. But I have still to say that I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. It was simply well done and told a good story. Which is for me more important than making it just a horror movie. I watched the old one as a child though so obviously it was more scary.
I also havn't read the book in a long time but I think there was also a sex scene in it. So there is that ...

The ritual was better without the gang bang.
The Gangbang was in the first chapter though between the children or something.

WRONG. I just read it don't make me tell you how they are stuck in a tunnel at the end so fucking somehow calms their mind and they see the door or some shit.

He did let me down as I got older. What a shame. *lip smacks*
He did write some really good storys though. And some even ended up as decent movies. Dolores, Shawshank, Green Mile, Christine. Just to name a few. Christine in particular is one of my favourites.
