Opening music

I doubt that they would succeed in that. Interplay was just as corporate and big as Bethsoft is now.

Although they might succeed if they stage a Jack-Black-for-School-of-Rock-and-Led-Zeppelin's-Immigrant-Song-plea-with-fans-style-plea.

Yes, maybe you are right. Maybe Interplay was as big as Beth is today. But back then Fallout was just a project that no one knew if it will have an impact or not. And I don't think that they put too much pressure to own the rights to use the song.

But nowadays, Fallout is colossal. And maybe the person who is calling the shots about the rights for the song is a Fallout fanatic also. You never know!?

I doubt anyone wouldn't succeed in getting another Ink Spots song. Their copyrights ended like, aeons ago.

Since this is my first appearance on NMA, I think it would be good to give everyone a chance to beat the living shit out of me for sharing my worthless opinion in a somewhat deadish topic.
As far as opening music goes I'd opt for Billie Holiday - I'll Be Seeing You. Killer amount of nostalgia, that's what it is.
Option two: Doris Day - Cheek To Cheek. Ron Pearlman would sound rather fine (duh) after a song containing the line 'Heaven, I'm in heaven'.
Option three: No, screw option three. I'm a sucker for 'Singing In The Rain' but it would be too much.

it could be perfect if they play the turkish national anthem in the beginning
If your anthems are as good as your films (especially 'Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam') than I'm all for it ;).

Fallout Music

Anyone recommend songs that are similar to the music in Fallout like The Ink Spots, Louie Armstrong?

I just downloaded that song "Dream a Little Dream of Me" in the No Mutants Allowed produced Van Buren Trailer.

Great thread, really enjoyed coming across some new-to-me songs.

Here's some I think would fit in well:

Blind Willie Johnson - "Dark Was the Night - Cold Was the Ground"
Geeshie Wiley - "Last Kind Word Blues"
Billie Holiday - "Strange Fruit" or "Gloomy Sunday" or "Solitude"
Peggy Lee - "Is That All There Is?"
Nancy Sinatra - "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)"
Dooley Wilson - "As Time Goes By"
Patti Page - "Tennessee Waltz"
