"most "realized" game worlds "

Is "realized" actually a word??

well ok yeah it is a word, but I don't think it is in the sense of the meaning they are going for.

Oh well, I will have to wait to get mine from Gamestop.

realized is a word, but not sure about the way they are using it. You can realize an event but I don't think you can realize a fantasy (as in make it real).

Why not over 9000 while we're at it?

Don't give them (Bethesda) those kind of ideas. We all know that they didn't listen to any suggestions the fallout fans had to give but you never know... They might actually read your idea and use it. There is always a first time for everything.

I heard pirates managed to hit the PC version, not sure about the crack.

Yes, the PC version is leaked. Not cracked, AFAIK.

WHY NOT A MILLION?!

It is a rather bizarre number: I mean, how do they gauge interest? Is this mostly pre-orders? If so, what's the interest of the store since pre-orders are essentially already money in the bank?

Yes.

They mean definition #2 or #3, but I suppose you could argue they mean #5 or #6.

But "realized world" is correct. It just means "fleshed out" or "real to the eye"

The leaked version is the Russia version so they need a starforce crack. Technically a crack shouldn't be needed if BS told the truth that their DRM was just a CD check. However from what I've read it's SecuRom. Apparently you can't just make a backup copy (which I've heard a bunch of people do in case their cd's break).

Oh they do, as I mentioned above, they apparently use Starforce which for some reason is popular in Russian games from what I hear.

EDIT: And perhaps lets leave it at this as I'm not trying to encourage the bad type of forum discussions that ends up with strikes.

I think they found a way using one of those old Daemon Tools pro techniques.

i think that "Love" is not the right word.... Rolling Eyes

So... what is the right word? Hatred? Whether you like the game or not, to say the Devs somehow don't care about a project they've poured 4 years of their lives into is ridiculous.

Circuit City is offering a $10 gift card and a mini-guide with all versions of Fallout 3 that doubles as a coupon to get the full guide for $10.

And yes, Fallout 3 uses a SecuROM disc check.

Do not discuss any cracks or pirated copies further please, guys.

Fallout 3 Russia uses anti-piracy software from what I gather, but I'm not buying this on the US version having SecuROM. Anyone have any proof?

The moderators on the Bethesda forums told me that it uses a SecuROM /disk check/. Not the rootkit activation-based version. There are multiple types of SecuROM.

But yeah, whenever they say 'Oblivion/Fallout 3 only has a disk check', it's SecuROM they're talking about. They just treat it like it's a dirty word and never openly say SecuROM unless pressured. It allows them to be high and mighty and claim they're better than EA. To an extent they are, but they still give rubles to Sony at the end of the day.

Conversation regarding it:

I don't get how Bethesda are somehow better than EA. Sure, they may churn out the same racing/golf/soccer/NFL game year after year, but at least they're just churning out Oblivion every couple of years.
