Circuit City is offering a $10 gift card and a mini-guide with all versions of Fallout 3 that doubles as a coupon to get the full guide for $10.

that actually sounds pretty nice of ye olde vacuum tube village. Ten bucks is about all I'm willing to spend on that flow-charted monstrosity of a game guide. Whats the point of playing when I can just read about it?!

Well, to be honest Circuit City might not be around for much longer. They're going through rather hard times. Forty-five cents a share. I've generally found good deals from them, and it'd be a shame to see them go as they're one of the 3 spots to get computer stuff around here.

Thats a little sad. I remember finding some real gems from time to time during some of their "these pc games are too old lets sell them for a dollar" purges.

I don't get how Bethesda are somehow better than EA. Sure, they may churn out the same racing/golf/soccer/NFL game year after year, but at least they're just churning out Oblivion every couple of years.

One could reason they are better because they don't treat their buyer like pirates by using intrusive DRM. But BS is worse because unlike EA, they claim they are using a simple CD check and no SecuROm and yet they do use SecuRom and disable simple backup copies. I rarely make back ups, but I understand some do for fear of damaging the original copy. What irks me is they said no SecuRom and sure enough they use it anyhow. You could say it's not the intrusive type but it's still the one that never uninstalls from your computer and can royally screw it up. And a lie is a lie and pretty much par for the course for BS.

Well Bethesda, I am glad to say that you never betrayed my confidence in you.

I knew you would screw your customers in some way, and Gosh Jolly, you lived up to it.

I hate SecuRom.
