it hasnt had a real intelligent opinion in several years. It gave oblivion near footing with Diablo 1. think about that crap.

HOLY CRAP!!

I just checked for All time games...

Crysis. Holy Crap. That is a really bad game. I mean not comparitively, just a really B level game. The engine was all messed up too intentionally so it would be the benchmark for all overpriced cards. It doesnt even look good artistically speaking.

please no one go there ever again. It's a shame what it has become. It used to be dead on in its reviews. A 7.5 game was fine to play if you were a fan of those types. 8.0+ was good to check out regardless, and all 9.0 games were rare and incredibly well designed.

crysis number 3 game for the past 15 years!! YES! Orange box was 4... anyone play halflife 2 on a great system when it came out? was awesome, epic, a real life movie. Portal? incredibly designed game, Team Fortress 2? I play it once a week still, awesome game... but nothing compared to Crysis! It could be read that both are 9.5 but I think they are listed 9.5's in order of rank compared. I love this site!

you know, just because you don't like crysis it doesn't have to mean it's a bad game.

Besides, i usually read the forums and user reviews on gamespot rather than blindly go by the raw score they gave a game.

It is 2010 right now. 2004 was several years ago. Your verb "enjoy" is present tense. I was making a statement about what I did in the past.

As time passes some people acquire more sophisticated tastes and some publications see their reputations decay.

Today, I would still recommend that people interested in buying a game read a mainstream website's review, but after doing so I would recommend they read or listen to someone who they trust, who is more discerning, and who has played the game. They should weight the opinion of the person they trust at least three times what they would the opinion of the mainstream website.
 
it sets the default render as opengl but when you switch to sdl render it is so much smoother...

anyways tried to attack people and nothing happened so there's not much to say I liked the music and it seems to be a good engine so here's to you achieving what you want with it

Lies, Crysis is a great game. I don't know about 15, but it's definitely the best shooter I've played in the last 5.
