That's cause no one cares about the duder.
Seriously, he sang opera. That's it. No one listens to opera.

Dude, 1990 world cup.

I know, I know, Dutchies remember it for Rijkaard's famous lama impression, but still.

1990.

World cup.

That's right, this was the only forum that did not had a thread about it and you had to open one and ruin it!

Really, I mean, tired enough to have to see it on the news I also have to see that here?

Never mind, just being sarcastic. :)

Will miss him but just one little bit. Or not even that.

Rest in peace.

I got some more bad news for y'all.

My bank erased my account for no reason... that's right, I'm broke.

So it goes.

By the way, did you see Andrea Bocelli's house?

Hahahaha. Kharn quiere vergolazos, vergoleadas, vergolizas.

Hey! I even listened to the two minute tribute the local radio station held! TWO MINUTES!

I am cultural.

He was a great singer (even if some prefers backstreet boys or cannibal corpse). He inflicted joy in a many. He did do a difference. I say the man deserves some respect even though he didn't affect one personally. He has mine. End of statement

I remember it vividly. The days when I didn't have my own TV and the films I wanted to watch were on at the exact same time his concerts were. And my parents just HAD to watch every single one of them. :|

Pavarotti was a great singer, yes, but the only reason why anyone (save for perhaps his own family) would feel the need to remember him in reverence is the fact that he was also a great promotor for the trademark that he managed to become. He was, if you ask me, more of a trademark than he was a singer. We might as well gather around in mourning when great companies file for bankruptcy.
