That just goes to show how hard it is to settle someting, especially this big and important as this, for all we know they could have had for example a engine in mind but they weren't able to obtain it, and to announce something and not live up to it is far worse, then to let the people in the dark for a while.Hmph. Somehow, I find it a bit weird that a company that was after the license six months didn't have an idea about the game they wanted to create, and still hasn't settled down some primary, fundamental game mechanics.

That was probably the most erotic post on NMA.
And I don't know about anybody else, but I'm sick and tired of "I was misquoted". This is a copout PC line of BS thrown out when the public doesn't eat your shit and call it ice cream. 89% of misquotes turn out to be nothing of the sort. And his "clarification" was minor semantic jabbering and more PC backpeddling.
Somone give this guy a spine.

SkynetV3 said:On a different topic altogether, I got my hands on Silent Storm last thursday. The way that game portrays combat is just the kind of engine I would adore seeing on Fallout 3. It has a 3rd Person, rotatable camera., turn based combat (hell, I know I may catch fire for this but AFAIAC THE ENTIRE COMBAT SYSTEM of Silent Storm should be in Fallout 3) and finally, the game features destroyable environment: wanna use mines? Just be sure you don't take the damn house where your sniper is perched on.
Mr. Teatime said:And playing Silent storm (and toee), just shows me how mcuh turn based combat completely pwns real time. There's just no comparison. Combat is boring and a chore in real time, but turn based games like ToEE and Silent Storm make it fun.
